When I arrived in London four or so years back a single bus fare cost 80p, and in that time it's gone up 120%!!!???? Do me a favour, inflation's nowhere near that bad....

 

yeah, i remember when a single bus fare was 70p, its tripled in the space of 5-6 years :angry:

I have a railcard now and it's still frickin ridiculous.

I can't drive - so how else can I get around the country and what makes me laugh is that I saw an advert in a bus shelter for a flight to Germany for £15 and I very nearly paid £40 to go just outside of London at the end of last year. :rolleyes:

It's no surprise Global Warming is rising due to so many flights ... my wanted to go to Cardiff to see a football match, it would cost him over £100 on the train plus hotel ... he evetually got it for £60 including flights and hotel .. which option would you choose?
