Iron maiden celebrate an outstanding world tour with the release of their ultimate tour souvenir single, 'Different World'. Iron Maiden have been touring their critically acclaimed 'A Matter Of Life And Death' album since early October when they opened in the USA . By the end of the tour – which climaxes with 2 shows at London's Earls Court Arena– they will have played 44 concerts to half a million fans in 18 countries across North America, Japan and Europe. its great to see them score a top 3 hit with this its a great track

i personally think the video is awful, but TBH Maiden have never really done that greater video's (except Can I Play With Madness?). The song itself is pretty good, not classic Maiden, but still a very strong song.

 

The tour was EXCELLENT, i only wished they didn't play the whole of the new album and play some more older stuff (maybe something's off the last tour where they only played songs from the first 4 albums).

I agree on the video John, it looks like some crappy PS2 game... :lol: :lol: The song itself is alright, I dont think it's anywhere near as good as the epic "Benjamin Breeg" or a lot of the stuff on the album though...

Well, I wouldn't expect someone who worships at the altar of mediocrity that is Westlife to understand Iron Maiden..... :lol:

I’m not much of a metal fan but I’ve grown to like this one band Blind Guardian and I like that "epic" sound they’ve got. I found it in Iron Maiden too, can someone recommend me other.. what is it speed metal? I don’t know why Pantera nor Metallica cut it for me :wacko: , though I think Motorhead is awesome. Oh and what Iron Maiden CD do you guys think is best to pick up? Thanks

Iron Maiden, Killers, Number Of The Beast, Piece Of Mind, Powerslave, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son are all safe bets.

 

Powerslave has an espically long epic at the end in "Rime OF The Ancient Mariner"

Piece of Mind could easily be the best album that they did with Bruce Dickinson on vocals
