Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor has called for the Gresini team it sponsors in the Moto2 class to immediately sack Motegi race winner Manuel Gonzalez after he wore a traditional Japanese hachimaki headband.
and now QJMotor's logo is no longer attached in the Gresini Moto2 team, meaning that Gresini has no longer associated with them.

Not really sure if Razgatlioglu is a human or a beast. He already won another WSBK race after recovering from his injury. :o

Rumor says that Andrea Iannone will replace the injured Di Giannantonio in Malaysia, with Pirro replacing Diggia in Valencia.

Would love to see The Maniac Joe in MotoGP once again.

Razgatlioglu wins his second World Superbike Championship after finishing 2nd during Race 1 at Jerez. It also becomes the first BMW rider to win the championship.

This was a real nail-biter yesterday! The top 2 keeping their cool, Pecco's first wet race win I think they said?

I've not watched many live races this season (this relentless early start times are killing me) but I can manage one more in Malaysia before el gran finale.

Valencia is now under a heavy flood attack. I don't think it's possible to conclude the championship there. :(
Still over 2 weeks away so might be ok by then but yeah maybe not a good look to have the showpiece event of the season in a place where there's been so many deaths.

Bagnaia's out of sprint race! Martin will have his match point tomorrow should he win now.
Martin will be champion if he wins tomorrow regardless of what Pecco does I think? These early starts have been a killer but I gotta get up to watch this one...

With Jorge Navarro (replacement rider for the injured Joe Roberts) and Izan Guevara finishing on top 3 today, Moto2 has now got 16 different riders on podium so far this season.

Well done to Ai Ogura last week becoming the Moto2 World Champion and celebrating it in the most Japanese way ever. Not a good weekend though for him today as he crashed and failed to stop Kalex's domination in the intermediate class.

The Alien's down again today. Safe to say & no offense, but he will at least not do the '2015' thing again to Martin.

The Rematch continues at the yet-confirmed Catalunya!

Should Martin win the Sprint Race, he'll be the World Champion.

Main contenders aside, happy to see all two Yamahas in the Top 10. Hopefully they're powerful enough, at least for Quartararo, to fight for the Top 5 next year.

Of course, no champagne spray as well in all 3 classes to respect the Spain flood victims.

It's now confirmed that Catalunya becomes the final race, under the tag #SolidarityGP.
  • 2 weeks later...

MotoGP starting grid:

1) Bagnaia

2) Espargaro

3) M. Marquez

4) Martin

8) Bastianini

Bagnaia should NOT do the same blunder as he did on the first Catalunya sprint race.
