I've not had the best luck with bjsc the last few years :lol: 97 Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back! | 168,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 34-25-14-10-11-13-22-31 | 8 wks Now hype alone was enough for me to chart this and I did really enjoy it for a minute but that feeling quickly subsided unfortunately. The album was a mixed bag but there were definitely a few highlights! 98 Calvin Harris & Sam Smith - Desire | 167,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 28-19-12-06-11-17-30-38 | 8 wks This charted through hype and a little bit of the fact that it was slightly catchy. Hearing the snippet before release had me hyped but coming after miracle, this was such a let down which is a shame. Calvin has squandered this era I think, as much as I hate to say it. He led the dance/trance revival on the chart and has now left the field wide open for others I think. 99 Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me | 167,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 04-02-04-26-27-30-35 | 7 wks Well Lewis, I really wish I could forget you. As much as this song made the top 100 I went off it pretty quickly and I find Lewis capaldo bland and forgettable. I get that he's so popular because he's relatable and well liked but seriously, his music is enough to put me to sleep. 100 Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Wolf | 167,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 40-31-23-16-02-15-17-38-35-39 | 10 wks I actually can't remember much about this song aside from the fact I know that I likes it :lol: it did make the top 100 after all which just confirms that.

Just so you know. I saw the musical last year and I was so impressed after initially being hesitant to see it. Great song, nice updated story for the modern age too! 93 Cat Burns - Live More & Love More - 181,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 28-16-08-05-06-23-27-34 | 8 wks I much preferred this to Cat Burns debut hit on the official chart. Now I've no idea whether her debut on the chart was indeed her first ever song but I highly doubt it. Regardless, this remains my favourite from her though looking back it isn't exactly an impressive song. 94 Selena Gomez - Lose You to Love Me | 180,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 29-22-13-15-21-13-21-32-33-38 | 10 wks This is literally the epitome of what Selena is capable of. If I had charted this on its release it would no doubt have been a multi week #1 but I only ever got round to it when she released single soon which itself was a bloody massive bop! 95 Meghan Trainor - Mother | 180,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 27-18-14-04-08-20-26-32-40 | 9 wks This was good. Was this the tiktok trend last year? Or was it made you look? I'm still of the opinion that the majority of Meghan's music sounds the same and I don't think that helps her achieve chart success.

It didn't do too well I don't think, I've forgotten already where it placed :lol: 83 Halsey - So Good | 188,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 10-14-22-31-40-33-33-26-28-21-31-36-38-39 | 14 wks This actually charted for a total of 21 weeks but 7 of those contributed towards the 2022 chart run. I will say I was soooo late to getting to chart this so there's that but I gave the album a spin and quite enjoyed the singles. This was a great discovery for me but I do wish I'd heard it at the time of release. 84 Fifty Fifty - Cupid | 187,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 28-24-17-10-05-07-11-24-24-37 | 10 wks This was quite good as songs from Asian artists go. Generally j-pop or k-pop isn't really what I'm into aside from the odd BTS track but this one was definitely cute. 85 Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red | 187,000 sales 2023 Chart Run • 36-19-08-04-09-13-25-31-37 | 9 wks I'm pretty sure this is the first or second doja track I've ever charted. I never expected in a million years to get remixes of these older songs but I did enjoy this one particularly well. Unfortunately it's a stand alone single. I don't think I would mind if her new album incorporated elements of this into it though it did sound a bit dated which is understandable given it's 2017 birth. She gave us love on this year but it really isn't up to scratch. It's decent yeah but by the time it did grow on me enough, I was over it already.
