It's 2 weeks on top for Lufthaus ably assisted by Robbie & Sophie in a post-christmas lul, but Bucks Fizz' Land Of Make Believe returns to the top 10 for the first time since it dropped out in 1982. Biggest climber is CYRIL aka sampled Suzi Quatro and Smokie's Chris Norman - Stumblin' In made my 1978 charts, and was always under-rated in the UK, but did well in Europe. It would be nice is Suzi could get an actual UK chart hit again, but she's a regular in these charts when she puts out new stuff. 50 years since she debuted, and still going, Chris Norman has been absent since the awful revamp of Living Next Door To Alice in the 90's, but debuted 49 years ago in Smokie (or Smokey as they were spelt then before Mr. Robinson objected).

Blessed Madonna get a second chart hit, top with Shades Of Love, Ilsey debuts No California, The Killers are back with new hits package track Spirit, also previously known as Born Slippy. Zach Bryan & Kacey Musgrave finally drop in, as do Jonas Brothers, both radio hits I've come round to. That leaves another ABBA oldie sneaking in as former number one Happy New Year gets it's annual appearance in the UK sales charts, without ever troubling the official chart. It was a great album track on the great Super Trouper album in 1980, and really should have been rushed out for Christmas after the title track dropped off the top spot. The album had a host of potential big hits on it, and they eventually got round to hampering their own chart chances with Lay All Your Love On Me in 1981 out on 12inch only, which was pretty expensive for a single that had no new material on it. So I never bought it, and it peaked at 7 in the UK charts, their lowest spot since 1975. Topped my chart of course!

Hi John!

Nice to see "Stumblin' In", "Worth It" and "Prada" get huge gains this week and the debuts for "I Remember Everything" and "Strong Enough".

Great chart!

Take care.

Hey John!

Bad woman top 5 yay. A big bop! Still not as good as some of her previous stuff but definitely good.

Look at story. It's still continuing to put in the effort. Meanwhile it will be gone from my chart soon I think.

Houdini a new peak *.* I said last week I thought I was getting over the song but I retract my statement

Worth It is pretty decent. Nice to see it doing well.

Spirit is great. Nice to see that enter. It's quite born slippy-esque don't you think?

Fab chart ^_^

Hey James! :)

Story is back up yet again this week for me, the one that wont stop bopping  Glad you still like Houdini, the last 20 seconds are the best bit though, shame they didn't bring it in earlier as a recurring hook! Spirit is Born Slippy Part 2  Worth It is very nice too

Thanks for the comments and compliments!

Hi Jordan! Hope the new year (and the BJSC work!) is all fab for you!

The answer is yes, Murder On The dancefloor is also back  She topped my chart with it bigtime first-time round (my record of the year) and has been back recently so unlikely to top my chart again, but I must see that film, if only for the end sequence :D

Always my pleasure to top 10 a Harmonica entry, you always have cool tastes!

Yay for Sheryl getting R&R HOF, now if only they could bung in The Monkees and many other ludicrous omissions :)

Prada takes a few listens, its very insistent :D

Thanks for all the picks and comments!
