Posted February 24, 20241 yr Rocking up the charts around the world, Stumblin In' is a track from Australian producer CYRIL. You might recognise him for a recent viral remix of The Sound of Silence, but now the world has tracked back to his previous release from the end of last year. It is a rework of the 1978 single from Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro which had big success in the US. CYRIL's version completely flips the song into a chilled house track and, whilst it doesn't set your auditory senses on fire, it is an incredibly catchy mix so can see why it's now taking off. It has recently gone Top 10 in Germany, Austria and Poland, Top 20 in New Zealand and Top 30 in the Netherlands. Here in the UK it's sitting on the iTunes chart in the Top 40 and had a spin on Radio 2 this week so could build up momentum here too. 57VMB1IzLKY Edited June 21, 20241 yr by lewistgreen
February 24, 20241 yr Interestingly, his remix of 'The Sound of Silence' is at #78 on the Apple Music dance chart but this song is not in the Top 200 (and both are tagged as 'dance' on there).
March 13, 20241 yr Author Now #19 in Australia and up to #4 in Austria. It seems to still be rising but doing nothing in the UK :nocheer:
April 12, 20241 yr Author Saw this got a spin on Radio 1 earlier but it's probably a little too late now
July 13, 20241 yr Author #89 this week! Don't think it's going to be bothering the Top 40 but it's nice to see it hanging around still after a few weeks
July 28, 2024Jul 28 I really wish the original could make some waves. One of my favourite 70s hits. Z1PcY59AX2Q
August 2, 2024Aug 2 very odd how slow the progress for this has been, it sounds like a big hit in the waiting but seems unlikely to ever fully take off in the UK at its current rate CR: 98-91-93-89-92-86-79-...
September 9, 2024Sep 9 Author Doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon as Dean McCullough has made it his Tune of the Week on Radio 1.
