ALSO - I haven't really posted in here much but this album is absolutely superb and by far her best work, not a single track I wanna skip. Best pop album in ages

365 has entered the dance singles chart at #29 *.*

Buoyed by the viral hit Apple, which almost didn’t make the cut, Brat increases consumption by 6.28% to 8,591 units for Charli XCX, even as it slips 4-6. With consumption of 71,738 units in its first six weeks on release, it is XCX’s biggest seller, and first silver album, though her 2022 No.1 album, Crash, has to-date consumption of 59,811 units, and should go silver next week.

So impressive how well this album has done, there have been quite a few albums (mostly female pop) that have really hung around the album charts this year in a way that doesn't usually happen anymore.

 

It is a captivating listen, I'm glad she finally after all this time has a project that's really broken through comercially as well as critically. Apple kind of reminds me a bit of what a 2024 Annie song might sound like, it's super infectious.

 

I see it's the least played song on the album on Spotify but I really love and appreciate I think about it all the time. You really don't hear many popstars singing about this subject in such an open way, and the dual use of 'baby' in the same line is clever.

So i'll be honest I haven't been much a fan of much of Charli xcx's output in the run up to the album - the singles left me a bit cold (don't worry this has a happy ending).

Then listened to the album and its all a bop... even Von dutch is a tune! 360 and 365 are bops too!

I wouldn't say it's out of the question this album could have a turn at #1 sometime, it seems to be a phenomenon and she's getting hit after hit from it.

I hope 365 will become a hit because that is easily her best song there x (much better than 360 and I stand by that :magic: )

I enjoy both but swinging more in favour of 365 atm too. Enjoying Mean Girls especially too.

I'm not really a fan of it as an entire album like I skip a lot of the songs but the ones I go back to I go back to a lot so I'm expecting it to grow on me the more I hear it, guess only really clicked with me this week tbh
