This has really been a lesson in how to sell an album in the streaming era... you don't abandon the album on release day like 99% of artists do, and you just don't wait 3 months for the next singles, what you do is push lots of songs at the same time, some on tiktok, some on radio, some on playlists, put remixes and new version with collaborations, that's how you get good streams in 2024, which is what will keep selling your album beyond week 1. It's a good lesson for everybody else really.

The album has returned to #1 in Ireland following Charli's summer festival gigs

UK album sales is on 89,825 so it should be certified gold in the next week (or 2 weeks)

Crazy to think this will be her first gold album! Definitely can see it going platinum by the end of the year.

think she has to be on albums this week just cos of the crazy streams

I know Chappel has a new vinyl but I think the increase in Brat streams can make it #1 no matter what

If physicals were properly made available again BRAT could do it with ease. Only CDs is available on HMV and Amazon. From what I see, vinyls are all sold out

Looking at Chappell's lead today, I hope they restock next week rather! Is there any big new releases next week?

There is one that may cause her issues :(

Beabadoobee's 3rd album drops on Friday and she seems to be doing a LOT of promo for it so no #1 next week either I fear...
