The next eras album should’ve been a follow up to the albums 1980-1984 by having the albums 1985-1989

This is rumoured to be the next spin-off. I reckon it will be released on 15th or 22nd August. I’m surprised Beats International are on there seeing as it was removed from the Now 17 reissueIMG_1380.jpeg

Shame they won’t reveal this album like they should’ve done yesterday. What’s the point in leaking album covers if they ain’t gonna reveal them?

Maybe they finally get that people don't want those pointless spin-off albums, and that they should focus on completing the Yearbook series and not dragging it out for another few years.

The eras albums are pretty decent to be fair and not pointless like their last 70s compilation and Now Gold etc. Hopefully, they reveal this eras album next week and fingers crossed that the next yearbook is 70s. You say that they get that people don’t want the pointless spin-offs but they’re ignoring the fact that 70s yearbooks are selling better than 90s yearbooks and they’re making excuses to avoid doing 70s yearbooks. It wouldn’t surprise me if 1985-1989 or another 90s is the next yearbook

The way I see it, they only have the following years left to complete the three-decade series;

1970

1971

1972

1975

1976

1991

1994

1995

1996

1999

That's five per decade, so they should balance out 70s > 90s > 70s and so on until completion, but it shouldn't take another 3 years to do, even with Extra volumes included.

I hope that the next yearbook is between 1970 and 1972 to balance out both sides of the 70s then 1995 for the next 90s yearbook to balance out both sides of the 90s and for the 30th anniversary. Shame they didn’t balance out the 80s yearbooks instead of rushing the first half of the 80s
