Pretty sure benson has the next three weeks locked up

Let's bet on it, can we have 20 pounds again but for real this time?

Pretty on-brand for Beyonce tbh

Pretty sure benson has the next three weeks locked up

If there is a Beyonce/Gaga collab coming I wouldn't be so sure.

I didn’t collect some Christmas bets at that time

But no you never know what will be released but looks a formality at this moment. I think a lot of people are tired of Texas and the week after his album drops so looks unlikely he will be displaced

^^ That would be 78 days Steve, putting it 5th overall:

Drake - One Dance (101 days)

Dave - Sprinter (87)

Tones and I - Dance Monkey (81)

Wham! - Last Christmas (81)

Noah Kahan - Stick Season (78)

Post Malone - rockstar (77)

Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You (76)

Drake - God's Plan (75)

Calvin Harris - One Kiss (73)

The Weeknd - Blinding Lights (70)

Thanks for the update!

He will be close to ‘Sprinter’ but think he won’t quite make it given the Beyonce album is out next week!

If Beyonce has either a Miley or Gaga duet on her album that has to be a strong shout for straight in at #1!!!

And I would be here for it to avoid the shit Texas re-peaking. :kink:

A very well trusted insider has confirmed there's a Miley collaboration on the album, as well as a Dolly Parton collaborated and a cover of a Beatles song.

Oh that sounds like a wild mix of things if accurate. Dolly Parton to get a chart hit in the 2020s if that's one of the three tracks to be big enough. :o

Are you sure the Beatles cover isn't for the third in her trilogy of albums? I thought that one was supposed to be rock and roll inspired so would make more sense.

The insider said it's on this album and they're extremely reliable, so I believe it. I doubt it's a straight up cover though, so I'm intrigued to see which song it is and what Bey does with it.

Dolly said in an interview that Beyonce is covering Jolene, but it didn't sound like Dolly's actually featuring on it.

The insider clarified she is a featured artist on the album, it's not a sample. As I originally thought maybe Miley would be featuring on a song with a Dolly sample.

Maybe the Jolene cover is the Miley duet?

Cannot really imagine Beyonce doing a country version of a Beatles song

I've seen it been touted about a fair bit that there is a Jolene cover and that's the Miley duet. But Lovett's source indicates there is another track with Dolly featured as well!

Hmm, at least there's only a few more days until we find out!

If Dolly did make the charts, it would actually be her second Top 100 appearance of the decade. 'Cuddle Up, Cozy Down Christmas' with Michael Buble first charted in 2020 before reaching a peak of #55 in 2022. :magic:

If Bey/Miley/Dolly were all doing a version of Jolene together that itself could be a #1 contender!

Surely Dolly would be well and truly breaking a record there for longest wait for a #1 in a career.

Was thinking that  she was never prolific in the charts in her prime anyway!
