I can definitely see something from the album charting as I think there could be some real viral moments but the musical moments will be very different to that of A Star Is Born. Multiple tracks coming to chart at the same time perhaps?

September 20, 2024Sep 20 11,000th post so had to be a Gaga forum one! So ready for this soundtrack. I’m gonna hazard a guess and say That’s Life could get some decent enough streams (really hard to call how this will go as I don’t think they’re necessarily gonna market a A Star Is Born esque soundtrack) but That’s Life being on the trailer is going viral :wub: :wub: Guess it also depends on what scene(s) go viral from the movie. The way we could have 3 Gaga charting tracks next month all from different projects. Oh mother!
September 21, 2024Sep 21 Congrats for your 11,000th post! I am still fairly sure that the album will not be a big commercial success - it will be like Love for Sale level at best considering the style of music.
September 21, 2024Sep 21 I’m ok with the soundtrack not to be a big massive success. As long as the movie is (despite the not so warm critical reception). I fear that if the soundtrack is as big as what A Star is Born was, it would eclipse the LG7 1st single and any hype going into the new era. With DWAS carrying the musical hype right now that Gaga is ‘back in the game now’, Joker 2 further carrying her name on the press and if the soundtrack is too commercial I would be pushing back the lead single if I were on her marketing team (something which I don’t want from a selfish fan point of view).
