Hey everyone.

 

Round 3 is now open in the all new Rihanna albums survivor.

 

Vote for your least favourite of the six albums which remain.

 

Round 2 seen 19 votes and 12 votes (63.16%) went to A Girl Like Me which has now left the the countdown.

 

 

I wasn’t too sure on what would go for round 2 (Music of the sun) seemed an easy first boot but after that it’s pretty hard to call. I’d probably have agreed that A Girl Like Me was the second weakest as a whole album though not that it’s essentially poor she just really grew and evolved from this point forward.

 

A Girl Like Me seen some huge successes globally, SOS the lead single being a US #1 (her first of *to date 14*) and the album reaching becoming her second top ten album in the US reaching #5 and her first entry inside the UK top ten albums also peaking at #5. In the UK the album would eventually go 2x platinum which was a big step up from debut album Music Of The Sun.

 

It’s crazy to think she was still so young when she released this album looking back but I do think it set her up very nicely for what was about to come.

Okay this is where it gets hard. I voted for GGGB. Just because out of all of the Rih albums that are left in the list, it is currently the one I come back to the least.

Talk that Talk gets my vote here.

 

It’s got some career best tracks here and some album tracks that I love but as a whole album I don’t think it’s quite up there with the others which may prove unpopular here :lol:
