Posted January 8, 200718 yr Do you think this is their worst cover version they have released? I much preferred their version of Jump, See the Day and I'll stand by you. I'm not keen on their current song at all. I think its a poor quality cover.

January 9, 200718 yr It's one of their best...and it's completely different to the originals which is the main thing...it's got a whole new melody so it's more like a mash up than a cover. The worst are I'll Stand By You and See The Day...they're both really bland.

January 9, 200718 yr il stand by you was great and i prefer it to the original by the pretenders Do you like Pretenders at all? I'm not a big fan but GA version doesnt have anywhere near as much emotion and feeling in it, it's very watered down.

Just because it is different to the original doesn't mean its good. And being different isn't the main thing, the main thing for a song would be for it to be good - cover or not.

Whether it'a good or bad - at least it has some point to it and some effort in it. And I do think it's good. If you dont then you dont.

I didn't say you weren't allowed to like it, obviously plently of people do like it. I was just quoting you saying; it's completely different to the originals which is the main thing And I was just saying [which you just agreed to] that it is not the main thing. I do however agree that it is good when artists change the cover to their own style - seems to make the cover less pointless.
