July 20, 2024Jul 20 Author AMAZING OMG ANGELA SLEEP DEPRIVED QUEEN. They’re all so paranoid so quickly I’m living.
July 22, 2024Jul 22 This season is already really delivering *.* my ranking so far based on the TV episodes plus the little feed snippets I see on my Twitter feed (no spoilers here though x) 1 Quinn - not only does he have fabulous hair (and he really does x) but he's provided me with numerous laughs so far, he's likeable, switched on, easy to root for, really hoping he can go far. Can't lie 90% of the feed stuff I see is Quinn related x 2 Leah - DR gold so far, a great personality, and her friendship with Quinn is adorable so far 3 Angela - she's absolute CHAOS and I'm living for it!!! 4 T'kor - strong potential here so far, and her accent is lush 5 Chelsie - based on nothing other than her DRs which are serving 6 Brooklyn 7 Rubina 8 Lisa - she's also absolute chaos, can absolutely see how she'd get on someone's nerves, the way she interrupted Tucker's intro  but she's going to be brilliant entertainment 9 Kimo 10 Joseph 11 Cedric 12 Cam 13 Tucker - thought I'd find him irritating and arrogant but he's not that bad so far, hope the bravado tones down though 14 Makensy 15 Kenney - not warmed to him much yet 16 Matt - arrogant as hell, and a terrible player too if he's openly making game threats to the HOH No-one I actually HATE, Matt is a great "villain" character for the season so far which is also going to be great entertainment. Middle section is quite interchangeable as it's so early but I've got some really strong, solidified favourites so far which is good going for this early in the competition.
July 22, 2024Jul 22 Author I thought the Sunday Episode was great as well! The first two launch episodes were a bit of a letdown, but this season is off to a smashing start. I can't say I have my finger on the pulse of any potential winner as of yet. I'm not watching the feeds, but do follow a few on Twitter that do. My rankings after the Sunday episode: Leah: Socially she's doing a lot better than what I thought she would. I think if she can win a competition early on (HOH, Veto) and prove to the house she can win something that would be of benefit. With three nominees this season I just don't want her becoming a easy "blockstar". Quinn: Seems like a pretty level-headed social player and I have my eyes on Quinn to do well! Angela: I had high hopes for her, but she's starting to come across as a bit of a target. I loved her rant on Saturday Morning but it painted a target on her back moving forward. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up on the block in the next few weeks. Joseph: I have my eyes on him to do really well this season. Lisa: the interrupting queen! Clearly already starting to rub people the wrong way. I wouldn't be opposed to her staying and winning HOH next week and having a complete meltdown (she'll probably put up Angela as well ) Matt: CRAZY EYES. I'd like for him to stay this week actually. He just comes across as extremely random and an easy target, but I'm here for a messy season. Makensy: I can see her being a problem down the road and she will probably go after one of my favs. I kinda want to root for her if she has the right targets. If not, she can go anytime. T-Kor: omg do something I think she's a queen but she's being completely overshadowed. Tucker: I think he could end up being someone UTR to root for if he can survive past Jury. Random and kinda hot, but I'm not sure how he fits into the bigger picture just yet. Brooklyn: I'm open for her being higher but for now she's just fodder. Chelsie: Want to see more. Rubina: Want to see more. Kimo: Zzz. I want to root for the queer housemates but absolutely boring. Cedric: not vibing with him yet I kinda want him to go. Cam: Zzzzzz Kenny: I hope he goes this week. With the twist on Thursday and one of the three nominees being able to save themselves, I am a bit worried that this will bloat the Thursday Eviction episode leading to us probably not knowing who the next HOH will be until the Sunday. I also assume that the next HOH won't be a crapshoot game like last season, as the first HOH was a crapshoot competition. Honestly I want a little bit of a shakeup going into next week so I'm rooting for Matt or Lisa to win. Edited July 22, 2024Jul 22 by Aaron.
July 23, 2024Jul 23 Chronic live feeder makes a midweek ranking for once? More likely than you think 1.) Leah - She’s A MOOD. Her DRs, her tweets, her antics inside the house, she’s got it all. I just wish she had more of a grasp at the power structure bc otherwise she’d be unstoppable. I’m not surprised she’s such a fave 2.) Quinn - Getting strong Michael/Cory energy right now and definitely one of the early front runners. If he and Leah get in a showmance, it’ll become even more divisive in the fandom than Americory ever was. 3.) Cedric - OK LOOK HE’S JUST A PRECIOUS LITTLE BEAN LIKE HE WANTS TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND PLAY THE GAME it sucks that he wants to be another Jag but I want to give him a hug and tell him everything’s gonna be okay 4.) T'kor - Very subtle gameplay, IMMACULATE vibes. Please be more assertive with getting into the power structure, her being so behind gave me a headache 5.) Tucker - It wasn’t until Saturday that he finally found a lane he can thrive in: being the ULTIMATE HATER. Like all of a sudden he just goes off about Matt hunting turkeys or Lisa drinking glitter- it’s the most unserious and petty thing and I’m here for it. 6.) Rubina - Amazing personality in feeds but can’t get a read on her as a player yet. 7.) Chelsie - She's REALLY good at this. Like eerily good at this. She’s significant in the current power structure yet has some sort of intuition that can take her far. 8.) Matt - I’M CRYING HE IS SUCH GOOD FEEDS 😭😭😭 first with the mini fight with Angela and the “crazy eyes” comments and then trying to navigate the house structure with his narcissism 😂 he’s basically Brett but ACTUALLY DERANGED - at least with Brett you know he’s playing it up for the cameras. He’s a divisive figure in the fandom rn but a dudebro archetype being a true spiral KING is so refreshing. He NEEDS to win AI Arena for team fun feeds. 9.) Angela - Same as Matt but OMG DOUBLE IT. This woman was MADE for TV and it really shows. She’s giving Frenchie’s funhouse but on Lisa’s edible glitter. I just wish she hadn’t called him aggressive and abusive bc while we don’t know the FULL story the optics are just not good. 10.) Lisa - She’s just as batshit crazy as the previous two but is a bit more subtle about it. I’m really intrigued by her and need to see more. I mean if she can live in Tucker’s head rent free… 11.) Joseph - He was doing really well in the beginning but has kinda faded into the background, which is a shame since I think he’s the most likely to stab someone in the back. 12.) Kimo - Love his spirit but just need him to lock in and he’ll be good. 13.) Cam - WHO ARE YOU??? I see your name every time on feeds updates and you’re very active but I don’t know a single thing about you! 14.) Brooklyn - More subtle gameplay but also WHO ARE YOU??? 15.) Makensy - She’s BB20 Angela but not infuriating. Very clueless gameplay but cracked as hell. 16.) Kenney - NO.
July 26, 2024Jul 26 Author That was a fantastic first week, definitely one of the strongest starts to Big Brother. My worry this week is that the nominations will be quite predictable? Angela/Lisa and Kimo/Kenny are obvious targets. HOH: it’s Chelsie. I have zero idea what she’s gonna do to be honest. But three women and a gay winning the first 4 competitions WE WON
July 27, 2024Jul 27 End of Week 1 Ranking: 1.) Leah 2.) Tucker (he is VERY close to that top spot, I think with what has transpired so far this week he may actually get there) 3.) Cedric 4.) T’kor (mmhmm 😮💨) 5.) Quinn 6.) Rubina 7.) Chelsie 8.) Cam 9.) Kimo 10.) Joseph 11.) Matt (RIP at least you’re mine of the most memorable last place finishers) 12.) Angela (plus: giving us the most chaotic week 1 ever. minus: calling a POC aggressive and abusive) 13.) Makensy 14.) Lisa (LEARN WHAT PERSONAL SPACE IS) 15.) Brooklyn 16.) Kenney (IF YOU DON’T WANNA BE HERE THEN LEAVE)
July 29, 2024Jul 29 Author Everyone on my Twitter timeline seems to be pissed with CBS and cutting the feeds anytime anything interesting happens. We’ve already seen them cut out one fight from week one.. what else are they cutting out lol. Sundays episode was alright, at least we’re starting to see some gameplay and some players coming to life, however, I’ll be honest I’m not sold on this Pentagon alliance  - I actually don’t have anyone in this alliance I’m actively rooting for. This is probably thee WORST season not to have a Pre-Jury Buyback. All the interesting characters are going to be knocked out quickly.
July 31, 2024Jul 31 The cutting of feeds is really bringing this season down for me, following along on Twitter and getting that bit more immersed is what differentiates BB from any other bog standard reality show and keeps me coming back. It seems anytime anything happens they cut the feeds and a lot of the drama and fun you’d never see in the episodes anyway. It’s a shame because I think potential is there for this to be a decent season, but we’ll have to see. I’ll keep at it with the episodes but feeds being compromised in this way almost makes it feel sterile. If whatever Angela is doing or saying is THAT bad they have to cut feeds then why is she still there lowkey? :lol:y
July 31, 2024Jul 31 I agree - if they can't show her confrontations on the feeds then she shouldn't be in the house. It's a confusing approach I can't lie. Not sure I can even attempt an updated ranking as everything and everyone feels super messy  I'll die on the hill of Quinn - the clips I see of him always make me laugh and he seems like a genuinely lovely person - but I'm worried revealing his power to Angela is going to be his downfall...! Leah's disappointed me, feels like she's only really there for summer camp. Angela's pure chaos, great entertainment but her approach to the game is quite something I need a few of the middling group like Rubina and Joseph to shine a little more I think (and I'm hoping the remainder of this week will cement Chelsie as a fave).
August 1, 2024Aug 1 The edit wasn't even bad but parts of BB Twitter seem to be seeing the worst in it!!! I'm genuinely so confused
August 1, 2024Aug 1 Author This Season is so BB7-BB10 Coded it's amazing. Some of these people hate each other so much that they're willing to throw away $750K. Some of the behavior and the inability to bite their tongue is just  The episode wasn't terrible at all, the Veto Competition was pretty straightforward forward so it didn't bloat the competition too much, but, obviously was hoping for a different result. With Lisa/Angela/Tucker up, I guess I'll root for Lisa to go. This season with the feeds is starting to head down in the direction BBCAN went before they canned the feeds. The fans of this show are completely unhinged and the fact that they're going to these people's EMPLOYERS trying to get them fired, CBS has a huge liability here, so I think the feeds may simply disappear over time. The feeds were down for hours after that fight, but we only got a five-minute segment so who knows what actually happened. I honestly also feel that it's a possibility Production gave Angela the narrative that the group she was referring to, was a group that she wanted to work with and they edited that narrative into the episode. Something seems very off with how they're trying to protect Angela - it's almost like everytime she speaks and it could be problematic, they just switch to another conversation. Quinn - eh, I think he's alright. I thought he would be one to look out for.. but to me (based on the episodes only) socially he seems strong, but he doesn't appear to be at the "Top" of any of these Alliances. I think the way in which he revealed this information, too sloppy and paints a target on his back. I think revealing this information was important but the way he did it and how it blew up in his face, poor gameplay. T'Kor - I'm surprised she didn't bite her tongue in that conversation in the bathroom. Angela's response was not a surprise at all. I don't think she was trying to call Angela a Racist. I don't think she sees Angela as a racist, nor do I think Angela is a racist, but she (Angela) went immediately on the defensive as expected. As predictable as this week was, I do think it's been a successful HOH for Chelsie. She continued to cement strong relationships and didn't get too much blood on her hands at all. I want chaos next week however. I want Angela as HOH with Quinn/Chelsie and Kenny on the block. A perjury of Matt, Lisa, Kenny, Angela would be iconic. I think Makensy and Leah have targets on their back so it's not unreasonable to think they are at risk as well. Big gameplayers out early. Edited August 1, 2024Aug 1 by Aaron.
August 1, 2024Aug 1 I'm seeing a lot of discourse around the Angela, Quinn and T'kor situation and a lot of it is really baffling me. I don't want to be seen as some defensive Quinn stan because I barely knew he existed 2 weeks ago, but it's interesting how quickly people have turned on him on social media. Angela's statement to Quinn - "that's the group" - was very vague, and it says it all that the live feed viewers assumed she wanted to target the group of T'kor, Chelsie, Cedric and Cam just the way Quinn did Now we know Quinn trusts T'kor and Kimo the most, it made sense that he flagged this to T'kor. Obviously it ended up getting back to Angela so it was a sloppy move with hindsight. Of course, T'kor had every right to tell Angela how her statement could have looked, and I agree with Aaron, I don't think T'kor called Angela racist nor do I think Angela was being racist, but her reaction to being informed about how it could be perceived was a little worrying (good on her for apologising though). Quinn being accused of weaponising racism, when nobody mentioned a race angle until way after Quinn repeated Angela's words verbatim, is a massive stretch. Not to mention how choppy the edit was with the DR segments in that entire portion. There's so much we don't know but it appears people are desperate to see the worst in the people they were keen to dislike from day 1. Janelle's really disappointed me with a particularly nasty tweet about Quinn, and she's even made remarks about his teeth and stuff like that. She of all people should know that stirring is a part of Big Brother and that the edit should not be taken at face value. Flush. As much as Angela's bringing entertainment, I think I need her out tonight, not just because it's obviously not in Quinn's best interests for her to stay but she's causing too much shit at this stage. There's enough characters in there to keep things ticking over without her being necessary for entertainment value (and keeping Lisa/Tucker for their rivalry to continue is essential x), and I didn't really like the way she presented herself in what we saw last night. Lots of love for T'kor for standing her ground and not letting Angela's tears detract from the very valid point she was respectfully and politely raising!
August 1, 2024Aug 1 Author I definitely started seeing some Quinn discourse on Twitter last week, it may just be my timeline and algorithm but I think this tipped against his favor online. I saw the tweet you are referring to from Janelle and yes I had the same reaction, gross. But it also got my mind thinking about old-school Big Brother which was just constantly filled with personal attacks (Janelle being at the forefront of most of them!) If Janelle was on this season and delivered a line, somewhat along the same tone in the context of this episode - I think the BB Fandom would have gone wild. But, honestly, it just seems like something they're trying to steer away from when delivering the show now. This season is a difficult balancing act of feeling like "Old School" Big Brother while trying not to revisit so many unhealthy behaviors that occurred in the past. It would benefit CBS if Angela does go tonight - but, honestly.... I want her to stay. The possibilities of where this season could go with a player like Angela in the game is worth exploring.
August 1, 2024Aug 1 I've seen a few anti-Quinn tweets before this but all it seemed to be was "stop casting superfan nerds" for some it's definitely rooted in a snap judgement made on appearance too. Worth posting this: @1818835595180802335 That's what Quinn was wearing the night he told T'kor - he was wearing the veto competition outfit after the blow-up (and apparently kept it on for a while after as he loved it), so the quote that people are suggesting is "weaponising racism" came from before the blow-up where T'kor mentioned how it could look from a race perspective to Angela. What a worrying edit...! Was also the same outfit he had on earlier in the episode when discussing who he trusted the most (I noticed his unusual position on the seat lol, it's the exact same there)
August 2, 2024Aug 2 I will say that this isn't the first instance of Twitter being weird and parasocial (and completely ignorant to social issues to the point of bigotry but that's just me). I still remember when people were trying to claim that Makensy was homophobic from talking about love and tolerance while Kimo spoke on his experiences being queer outside the house. Quinn was in a catch-22: reveal this info immediately on live feeds, CBS panics and repeatedly cuts feeds to prevent another Kyle "Cookout 2.0" situation, then they chop up bits and pieces of unaired feed footage to create a narrative and he gets evil edited like Cory did (it wasn't as bad as Cory but the reaction from fans was 10x worse). withhold the information for weeks and you end up like Michael - to this day people are still on his throat about withholding Kyle's comments until the week the latter got evicted. When it comes to social issues you can't win with these people. They cheer when a Southeast Asian man gets thrown microaggressions yet when a HG calls out a quote with bad optics and severe consequences in the real world they're "weaponizing racism". The fandom is at a 0/10 for me at the moment. Worse than the cop.
August 2, 2024Aug 2 End of Week 2 Ranking: 1.) Tucker (professional hater. However, if he said half of the shit he said about Lisa to Christie that man would have been called a bully and cancelled in 5 seconds. AI Arena pushed him over the edge. I too LOVE PUZZLES BAYBEH) 2.) T’kor (her and Tucker are pretty much tied) 3.) Cedric (why Angela ran to this man for comfort is the most bizarre thing this season) 4.) Quinn 5.) Leah 6.) Rubina 7.) Kimo 8.) Chelsie 9.) Makensy (did well with connecting with the girls, and I didn't hear much of her mouth. That's a good thing) 10.) Joseph 11.) Cam 12.) Brooklyn 13.) Lisa 14.) Angela (she needs to be here for my peace of mind) 15.) Kenney (IF YOU DON’T WANNA BE HERE THEN LEAVE)
August 2, 2024Aug 2 Author 01: Tucker 02: T'Kor 03: Angela 04: Chelsie 05: Leah 06: Makensy 07: Cedric 08: Quinn 09: Joseph 10: Kimo 11: Brooklyn 12: Rubina 13: Cam 14: Kenny For me there is just still so much fodder. I honestly don't have that many strong opinions for Cedric, Joseph, Kimo, Brooklyn, Rubina and Cam. Especially the last three. Tucker is baby girl I love him but I'm not sure if I really see a path for him winning. I think he will be left alone for now, but I just see him as a random Jury Member exit. T'Kor is running for that top spot as well, adore her. YES. I'm putting Angela high. Honestly, there is no hope for her in this game but I need her to stay for another few weeks. GET KENNY OUT!
August 2, 2024Aug 2 Let's try this then x 1 Quinn - I'm going down with his messy gameplay ship at this point idc x 2 T'kor - really impressed me in the veto episode, mature, measured, likeable 3 Tucker - wait why do I like him so much 4 Kimo 5 Chelsie 6 Joseph 7 Cedric 8 Rubina 9 Leah 10 Brooklyn 11 Angela - she's stressing me out too much will be part of many memorable moments to look back on but the constant crying is starting to irritate me 12 Makensy - wallpaper, there's just nothing to her 13 Cam - honestly forgot he was there 14 Kenney - go home if you want to go home
