August 9, 2024Aug 9 Author Last night was the best outcome we could have hoped for. If it would have been Tucker v Kenny and Tucker would have went... I would have been really disappointed in the houseguests. 01: Tucker - his blow up was completely unnecessary and probably game ending. He had a good path to Jury, but now I think he's toast this week unless he can win again. 02: T'Kor 03: Cedric - I think he handled this week marginally well, the only person going after him at this point would be Tucker and that's a good position to be in. He's starting to build his resume but I still think he lacks the ability to pull out some of the bigger moves. 04: Angela 05: Quinn - I have him higher than expected  I like the fact that he's embracing more of this villian-esq role. He knows what he's doing and he's providing some good TV. Honestly, if he would have kept his mouth shut about his power this entire time he would be in a GREAT position. He's a good gameplayer, but not a smart gameplayer. He's very much liked.. but, too exposed. I don't see a path for him winning, but I wouldn't mind him sticking around a bit longer. We need people that will take risks and make big moves and that's Quinn. 06: Makensy 07: Chelsie 08: Leah 09: Cam 10: Brooklyn 11: Rubina 12: Kimo 13: Joseph OMG at Angela winning this HOH. Apparently she killed the competition and is at least safe for the week. God, I wish Quinn never won the Deep Fake HOH. This week would have been sensational! It sounds like Tucker and Rubina are at risk. I'm hoping Tucker wins either the Veto or AI Arena to stay safe. I'd be fine with Rubina leaving this week honestly.
August 9, 2024Aug 9 1 Quinn - there's some real nastiness on social media targeted at Quinn for effectively being an enthusiastic superfan, which is only making me root for him more. I don't see him getting too far at this point but he's clearly having the time of his life in there and isn't taking anything personally, emotional maturity that a certain other big character could learn from...! 2 Brooklyn - she's hidden in plain sight in just the right way, really enjoyed her presence this week from what I've seen of the feed action 3 T'kor 4 Chelsie 5 Cedric - fair play to him for standing his ground against Tucker in such a measured and calm way too 6 Joseph - a curious character, thinking he's the main character of the show when only Rubina's had fewer DR moments in the TV show so far I admire the delusion 7 Kimo - he needs to stop making game decisions based on his crush, he caused the drama this week. Head in the game pls 8 Makensy - she's grown on me a little this week but she's aligned with many of the people I'd rather not see progress far in the game 9 Angela 10 Rubina - she's really not delivering, I'm worried this developing romance with Tucker is going to push her even further towards being a supporting character. Aligned with all the wrong people right now. 11 Leah - damn she's disappointing me. Gross comments made about Quinn, who she knows has a little crush on her and offered to keep his distance but she's encouraged the flirting to then go bitching about him behind his back. Dangerous in and out of the game if this is how she plays situations. 12 Cam - this guy promising he won't talk to Leah anymore and then rushing off to tell Leah what's been said in the HOH room 13 Tucker - okay he is the person I thought he was at first. Arrogance is off the chart and it's clear "pretty privilege" is in play with many fans, cause if anyone else acted like he did, they'd be *hated*. He's very immature too, complaining about being called names when he's badmouthed Cedric and Quinn far worse than they've badmouthed him!!! I need him brought down a notch or two ASAP (but I don't see this happening while the AI Arena is still in play). 14 Kenney - bye x
August 9, 2024Aug 9 At this point T’kor and Brooklyn are playing the best game bc although they have flaws in their game (Brooklyn’s complacency and T’kor’s inability to follow through on decisions) everyone loves them and wants to keep them in their back pocket. They both have this welcoming presence and are great listeners which helps them gather info, and their reads are probably the best in the house at the moment. They just need to make a F2 idk
August 9, 2024Aug 9 Author I really feel like CBS should have moved to 90-Minute Episodes pre-jury. There are so many houseguests where I'm like ??? who are you. I'd probably stan for Brooklyn but she's been so invisible on the show. We're now 11-Episodes in and I know nothing more about a handful of these housemates than I did when they entered. The pacing for the first few weeks always has been a challenge however. The edit of course could always be better, but I feel with more time in each episode they could start building out a bit more of a storyline. Post-Jury. Probably not needed, especially towards the end.
August 9, 2024Aug 9 And now Tucker has called Quinn a "lying sack of shit" because Tucker's decided Quinn's power doesn't cover a potential renom, when it does. There's drama and then there's nastiness and Tucker's crossing the line recently when he's gaslighting himself to believe his own made-up theories, gross man
August 9, 2024Aug 9 I still have zero idea what this Deepfake HOH entails. Like I know forehead said that Quinn can hijack and HOH and also choose renoms (I mean it doesn't affect veto which is great) but he can also play in the next comp? Like there is potential for this to be Jag "winning" HOH two weeks in a row all over again. At least when Claire got to control Tiffany's HOH she was told to throw the next comp. And it makes me feel bad for Makensy like Quinn got what is basically a coup d'êtat and she got... a veto. Which she did end up playing so fair to her but the discrepancy is insane.
August 9, 2024Aug 9 Quinn's said he can play in the next HOH comp and can cast a vote this week - I assume this will be expanded upon in the show on Sunday too. It's a very big power but that's an issue to take up with production...!!!
August 9, 2024Aug 9 Yeah it does seem like Jag’s anon HOH just retooled, personally I think that’s unfair and a bit broken, but what would modern BB be without these kind of twists? I think this season has the perfect balance of being camp as f*** and so fun to the point I’m not really fussed about it and it’s working out so well for entertainment’s sake. I’d still rather a silly broken twist than a boring steamroll from the typical BB players, which this could easily turn into without Quinn, Angela and Tucker.
August 15, 2024Aug 15 Author I'm not sure what the point was for Tuesday's episode, a random clip show so early in the season?! They didn't reveal anything about the upcoming twist so that was annoying. Also, why was it Jag, Taylor and Cody and not.. say.. Will/Jun and Dan. This season has been so old school BB Coded... why am I listening to Cody?! That whole episode could have been an email. I still think today's eviction could be in the air, I'm following BB Twitter and it sounds like T'Kor/Kimo are deciding whether or not they will flip on the Collective and vote out Cedric over Rubina (if Makensy wins AI Arena). I think they'll chicken out and just vote out Rubina but I'm down for Cedric leaving this week Tucker. What a stud! He was absolutely toast this week if he didn't win that Veto. It's so refreshing to see a well made plan go sideways in the BB House. I don't have strong opinions on Rubina, I'm happy for her to leave if Makensy can stick around, show the same level of loyalty to Tucker + Team and win competitions. I could see Rubina winning things eventually but Makensy is likely the stronger choice to keep around to go after The Pentagon. I do need one of Quinn or Cedric out soon to take the heat off Tucker. Honestly, I think Quinn is the more moldable player that may actually work with Tucker if it benefits him. Quinn isn't as insulated as Cedric is and I could see Quinn offering a week or two of safety to Tucker if it makes sense. They could be good shields for each other, but Cedric needs to go. For me I'd like to see Tucker, Makensy, Joseph, T'Kor, Kimo and Leah team up. It's really tight right now. The next HOH is critical. I'm kinda hoping they just end the 3-Nominees/AI Arena this week. Not sure what this AI Instigator power is, likely if the Public is voting it will goto Tucker. BB Twitter seems to think it will be similar to Team America/Sabateour twist. Is Angela eligible for the next HOH? I'd love for her to win again and put up Quinn/Cedric or Quinn/Brooklyn
August 15, 2024Aug 15 Author as of 9:30am this morning T’Kor and Kemo agree that evicting Cedric and keeping Rubina is the best move OMG DONT CHANGE YOUR MINDS PLEASE LET MAKENSY WIN AI ARENA They’re going to talk to Joseph and Leah, let’s hope they’re on board. Tonight’s HOH will be an Endurance Comp that will play out on the feeds! Edited August 15, 2024Aug 15 by Aaron.
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Author OH MY GOD THIS EPISODE IS SO INTENSE. It’s incredible. 3-0 for Cedric to go right now!! HE’S GONE. THIS SEASON IS JUST OMG *.* Edited August 16, 2024Aug 16 by Aaron.
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Author and Tucker beats Quinn in the wall comp, you CANNOT make this up WHO IS WRITING THIS SEASON! Tucker won!!!!
August 16, 2024Aug 16 It's been a crazy 24 hours and I truly don't think I can attempt a rank at this stage!! Quinn's HOH didn't go very well in the end but much of that was out of his control, poor guy despite that, he seems to have come out of the week in a better position as I don't think he's the biggest target any longer, especially now the power's done and dusted - Chelsie, Brooklyn and Cam should be worried now there's been a flip. I thought Tucker winning HOH would be worst case scenario but as things stand, he's planning to nominate Quinn, Brooklyn and Cam, and if he wins veto he'll pull Quinn down (with Chelsie likely going up I guess), so maybe it's not quite as dire a situation as I thought (and to give Tucker credit, the video I just saw of him and Quinn chatting about the plan was actually really nice and felt genuine on a personal level between them, a nice contrast to Tucker and Leah somehow coming to the conclusion that Quinn is a "bully" lmao). If I were Quinn, I'd keep Tucker as close as I can until the AI Arena twist is over, because there's not much use trying to get him sent home until a proper backdoor is possible. Chelsie and Brooklyn going from top of the house to bottom in 24 hours, now that's Big Brother! It's a shame Cedric got evicted as I was really warming to him, but these flips do make the game more interesting for sure. Brooklyn seems to be Tucker's target as the brains of the operation with Cam nominated as the brawn. Intrigued to see where things go from now.
August 16, 2024Aug 16 Author Last night was absolutely epic. We've had some good changes in house dynamics in this "new era" but last night did feel like an old-school flip that we haven't seen in a while. Last night absolutely changed the dynamics of the game. Those that were on the top are now at the bottom. When the Pentagon was formed, I was a bit worried because I didn't like anyone in that group and I'm happy that the shot was successfully taken. 01: Tucker 02: T'Kor 03: Quinn 04: Makensy 05: Angela 06: Kimo 07: Brooklyn 08: Rubina 09: Leah 10: Joseph 11: Cam 12: Chelsie Quinn's deepfake HOH will go down as one of the worst reigns in Big Brother history. He targetted Angela, but she won HOH. He targetted Tucker, but he won Veto. He targetted Makensy, but she won AI. He targetted Rubina and instead got one of his closest allies out. Doesn't get worse than that. However, I still think Quinn has a great runway in this game if he continues to play smart. I got the impression he was in the know that that move was going to be taken and is playing silently in the background. Great gameplay. Despite all the missed shots, he is in a good position still! Tucker, absolute stud once again. He's turned the charm on again and he's bringing in the right allies. T'Kor I'm so happy her and Kimo woke up and decided to play BIG BROTHHHHHERRRR!! This list is very fluid, I'm surprised I have Chelsie last because I do like her and I also feel she could continue to have a great runway in this game. I like everyone!! Here's hoping Tucker targets Cam and Brooklyn this week Edited August 16, 2024Aug 16 by Aaron.
August 16, 2024Aug 16 End of Week 4 Ranking (I still like everyone left): 1.) T’kor (yeah, she did THAT 👑) 2.) Tucker (actually driving the story! I think if T'Kimo and Rubina play their cards right they can hide behind their meat shields and get away unscathed) 3.) Quinn (his DRs are painful to listen to but I can't help it, he also drives the story!) 4.) Kimo 5.) Rubina 6.) Makensy (I knew you could humble Chelsie :P) 7.) Joseph 8.) Cedric (his eviction was disheartening and it's sad to see a HG you love become a prejury flop but it was a necessary evil to help T'kor's game and ngl he kinda asked for this? I would say the same thing about Tucker & Quinn and I'm surprised he hasn't gotten even a fraction of the licks they got on social media - their hubris is what's getting in the way of their game) 9.) Leah 10.) Angela 11.) Brooklyn 12.) Chelsie 13.) Cam
