The most recent sensation was the Japanese hip-hop group Creepy Nuts who blew the TikTok with their song for the anime Mashle: Magic and Muscles – The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc, titled Bling-Bang-Bang-Born. It was so close to reach the Spotify Global Top 50, where it peaked at #52. The official music video never came to light, but here's a fan-made MV by TheAnimeMen that 'apparently' became official. They are first famous for their YOASOBI music video:

Is this the first anime band to perform at THE FIRST TAKE? :o (Tbf Japanese Vtuber Hoshimachi Suisei was the FIRST ANIME thing to perform here).

 

THE FIRST TAKE is a Japanese YouTube channel and a trademark of Sony Music Japan that invites musicians to perform their song in one-take. The studio concept is just a standing microphone and white background.

Some international artists that have been invited here are Harry Styles, Måneskin, Avril Lavigne, and Maluma.

Not sure why I thought of Toei Animation when it said TOHO Animation for that 'Show' cover video. Very similar sounding.

 

Also, gotta love the use of 'Out of Time' for 'Jaka Jaan'. :heehee:
