I started to listen music in 16, so don't have any childhood memories. In Internet era, which was started for me in May 2011, I mostly listen retro stuff from 1970s to 2000s. My starting point was UK singles chart (from start to 1998), after it I dived into the charts of other countries and low-known / forgotten music from the selected period (1970-2012).

 

I was quite late to music love as well prob around 16-18!

late 2000s and early 2010s definitely come up trumps for me, but that's because my teenage years span both of them so more knowledge of them. The late 2010s kind of ruins the decade as a whole though with some much bad rap music.
