Is this Sorry or Hung Up?

If its Hung Up, i thought it sold way more than 340K!! Or if its Sorry i thought it sold way less!!

Didn't expect Beyonce to have sold so many, although I do suppose she had Check On It at the beginning of the year.
31 is awful for Michael Jackson considering how many singles he released in 2006...

Are these figures just rounded or do they include downloads racked up by past hits as some look a bit inflated to me?

Anyway thanks for this - always interesting to see as I think it's a true representation of what the biggest artists truly were over the past 12 months.

Because downloads are included in the chart now, the totals can include artists previous singles that were downloaded during the year. For example Take That's only hit in 2006, Patience sold 282,000, though thier total sales were over 300,000 , 20,000+ sales coming from downloads of thier previous singles.

Also worth noting these sales are NOT rounded up to the nearest thousand, so for example if an artist sold 369,000 singles it is shown as 360,000 not 370,000.

Will's done great as he only released two singles in 2006 and they were in January and April, Good to see Shakira and Pink do well also.

the top 3 are the same as the top 3 singles :o

cool chart anyway, although I dare to think how many of Shakira's sales came from DB and Illegal  :(

Did 50 Cent even release anything this year except one minor top 20 hit?

Because downloads are included in the chart now, the totals can include artists previous singles that were downloaded during the year. That makes no sense.

Yep he had numerous dual disc re-release singles at the start of 2006...none made the top 10. The highest, Billie Jean got to No.11
