The singer labelled them as "drab" and "manufactured wannabes" and said that they were almost as bad as his housemates on Celebrity Big Brother. Describing the Monkeys to The Mirror, he said "There's no one I despise more, apart from Jo O'Meara and H from Steps. I'm not down with the Monkeys. They're up their own arse. "Their songs are full of old man lyrics and they make out they write their own songs but they have loads of help...They slag off bands like Take That but at least Gary Barlow writes all his songs. "They have no sense of humour, they take themselves too seriously. They're drab, man." (I think I know where this may go but...) Any Comments?
January 9, 200718 yr He's a fool. This just reaks of jealousy or he's making these comments for a reaction of some sort just to keep media attention on him. -_- How is talking about going out on a weekend, old man's lyrics? He's made such a prat of himself IMO.

January 10, 200718 yr This guy is a complete arse... I remember back in the day when Richie and Nicky from the Manics would vent their spleen at various people - once infamously saying that they wished Michael Stipe would get AIDS - but they actually had some talent and intellect to back up some of the outrageous things they said... This Tourette guy is just a total nobody, and his music is utter sh!te as well, I actually listened to some of it on Youtube and seriously wished I hadn't..... I'm not the greatest Monkey's fan, but Christ, they're streets ahead musically and lyrically than Donnie and his band of utter losers, who aint gonna amount to sh!t.....

January 10, 200718 yr Well i've just found out that his band have a single coming out at the end on January, and now he's put of the BB house he has no media attention, so now to get back into the media attention he slags off a band that he knows will get him attention. -_- I don't get why he detests Jo and H so much either? Just because they make pop music and he makes awful music is the most obvious reason I reckon.
January 11, 200718 yr Well i've just found out that his band have a single coming out at the end on January, and now he's put of the BB house he has no media attention, so now to get back into the media attention he slags off a band that he knows will get him attention. -_- That's about the size of it mate... Here's hoping it'll flop and we'll never hear of these useless tw@ts ever again.... I dont usually like to wish so much ill on an up-and-coming band, but Donnie is really the most objectionable arsehole this side of Pete Doherty, and he's got even less than Doherty to shout about if you get my meaning...

Donny is a complete and utter NOBODY as far as talent goes..... But, dont take my word for it, go onto You tube and do a search for Towers of London, if you really want to put yourself through that......

Sure Pete can be an absolute arse at times, but in all fairness to him its not all his fault. If he makes one wrong move everything gets blown out of proportion because its Pete Doherty and thats what happens. Pete Doherty isn't my favourite person in music by any stretch of the imagination but I can respect that he's done for music, where as Donny has done Jack for music and he's only got "famous" by appearing on CBB.
