^Shame it didn't go to a 5th, but what a match and what a fight from Berrettini. Hope he can get back amongst the top players over the next year.

Raducanu got past Mertens very easily. I wouldn't expect Sakkari to be too much of a challenge, if she could get to the quarters that would be an excellent result.

I see Rublev is also out on R1

Good, one of the few players that I have an active dislike for. The way he made himself bleed by smashing his racket against his knees

Berrettini was very unlucky, 3 tie breaks and all 3 losts, was really rooting for him, he's one of the best on grass

Not a big fan of Rublev, either. One of the weakest mentally.

Yesterday I watched quite a bit. Carlos Alcaraz keeps winning but he's not playing amazing. Had to go to another tie break in the first set. Medvedev I thought he has gonna lose, but he sorta recovered. Was sad to see Osaka leave, really liked er but she didn't play well enough. Was surprised to see Ruud and Felix out already.

Briton Lily Miyazaki lost in the Wimbledon second round as she failed to win a game against Daria Kasatkina.

The Russian 14th seed - who won the Eastbourne title on Saturday - came through 6-0 6-0 in 50 minutes.

Certainly was a good match, probably the match of the championship so far for me. If it had gone to the 5th, there's a strong chance that it would have had to held over the next day due to the 11pm curfew.

Bye bye Tsitsipas and Pegula yesterday

When will Djokovik face a strong player? I swear he always gets the easiet draws.

Tsitipas' record at the Australian and French Opens versus Wimbledon and the US Open is kinda crazy, it's like he gets tired or just gives up halfway through the season.

Boulter and Draper taken out by Dart and Norrie :o The first result wasn't too much of a shock, but Norrie winning in straight sets felt like quite an upset. Hope he's up for the Zverev challenge

The Murray tribute was incredibly touching, especially with Sue Barker presenting it.

He's 10 days younger than me, and him starting out in the slams in the mid 00s just reminds me of being 18 like he was and watching his early matches and admiring his growth over the years. The amount he achieved in a golden era of men's tennis is incredible. Really puts it into perspective when sportspeople my age who I've grown up with are now retiring from their professions due to health.

It was a great tribute for Murray indeed with the guard of honour from tennis legends, his Davis Cup winning teammates, Tim Henman, Lleyton Hewitt.

About Djokovik, everybody has super hard draws, I mean, Sinner had Berrettini in round 2

Djokovik always always always the same, never someone remotely difficult til the quarters, at every major, always always always

Into the last 16 with only 1 service game lost in the tournament. Another top 10 victory. Impressive from Emma.

Never had any doubt about Emma dispatching Sakkari with ease.

Big shot at a semi-final match up with Coco now. The draw just keeps opening up with Badosa taking out Kasatkina.

Badosa has been playing amazing <3 my fav player in women <3

Thought Alcaraz was gonna lose yesterday but he succeeded in the end

Raducanu has sensibly withdrawn from the mixed doubles, made no sense to do that instead of resting for the singles.

Swiatek and Jabeur out! The former isn't that much of a surprise, this isn't her surface and her slam record outside of the French is very inconsistent for someone who before the year is out, will be the 7th longest world #1. But I'm sad for Jabeur.

Surely there will be more upsets to come and we won't just end up with a Gauff vs. Rybakina final

Emma’s serve is no kind of weapon today unfortunately.

She’s constantly on the back foot.

Qualifier Lulu Sun through to the quarters and ends Emma Raducanu's hopes. Emma will be back.,
