Aaaaanyway, I don't think much of the studio version of their cover of this, but when performed live it is absolutely immense.

With very little to do with TV and not right for the Lounge :P Let the mods do their jobs without calling them thick.

I totally agree. ^_^

Live performance of Running Up That Hill is amazing. Especially Rock AM Ring 2006.

Ok... not Thick, just narrow minded

That's very similar ;) A little tip for the future, post things in the right place and you won't rub people up the wrong way when you kick up a fuss when they move it. OK? ^_^

That's a rhetorical "OK?" btw ;)

Come on guys, let's not fall out in here. Please? :(

Sorry, I apologise :P Not had a good day.

I found this on a Myspace bulletin...

Virgin Records USA re-releases 'MEDS'

Virgin Records USA is re-releasing Meds, on January 23, 2007. The album was originally released in the U.S. earlier in 2006 through Astralwerks.

Over the last year Placebo have once again made significant in-roads into the USA.. The current crop of successful US Alternativve Rock bands such as Panic! at the Disco, AFI, Aiden (Meds is lead singer Will Francis' album of 2006) and My Chemical Romance, have all recently commented in some way on how Placebo have been an influence on their music. My Chemical Romance recently commented on Placebo winning the Kerrang! Classic Songwriters Award in the UK: 'Many congratulations to Placebo from all of us in My Chemical Romance. We love you dearly and you guys are undoubtedly the most deserving of this particular award.'

The Virgin Records US relaunch will see three songs not on the Astralwerks release, “Lazarus,†“UNEEDMEMORETHANINEEDU,†and a cover of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.

Along with the growing alternative radio coverage of title single, the band has racked up over 4 million streams of the songs posted in the PLACEBO MySpace.com page. “Running Up That Hill,†the trio’s cover of the Kate Bush mid-Eighties classic, has been recently featured on two U.S. television series, Bones and The O.C. The band will also be featured in.
