May 8, 200718 yr Oh ur ahead of us then quite a bit  will there a be a season 7 ? Yep there is. :D There's plans for 2 more seasons then the producers are going to end it I think.
May 9, 200718 yr Author they can't end it  we need at least 24 days   I was thinking that too. Weren't there rumours that they were gonna do a movie ?
May 9, 200718 yr  I was thinking that too. Weren't there rumours that they were gonna do a movie ? they weren't rumours it was true, Kiefer confirmed it a while ago on Jonathan Ross. They were going to put together the script between season 6 and 7, but they felt it wouldn't have enough time and it wouldn't be done justice so it's on hold for now :(
May 21, 200718 yr Weren't there rumours that they were gonna do a movie ? How would that work though...? Isn't it supposed to be set in "real-time" or whatever (not that it really is though)...? The film would actually have to last for 24 hours then wouldn't it...?
May 21, 200718 yr well it wasn't going to be in "real time" only 2 hours, with bits based in London and around Europe. In a way I'm glad its been shelved for now as it sort of goes against the whole principle of the show
May 24, 200718 yr i thought i'd miss Sky One but I don't really, apart from that one hour a week
May 24, 200718 yr i thought i'd miss Sky One but I don't really, apart from that one hour a week  I think it's just 24 I miss also  Tried this downloading lark but can't get them to play  I mean wtf are bin and cue files anyway
May 28, 200718 yr I miss Sky One  I'm going to have to get the box set ^_^ ...Or download it from one of the many Torrent sites out there....

In a way I'm glad its been shelved for now as it sort of goes against the whole principle of the show just a bit... But, as I say, the show's "real time" principle has kinda been shot out the water over the past few series tbh... They don't really adhere to it, setting up rather unrealistic scenarios now which couldn't possibly occur within the time-frames suggested.. Series one was probably the one which adhered to the principle more or less fully, but even in series two cracks were starting to appear... But now, with the increasing insanity of the plots and just so much going on, it's just gone out of the window really....
May 28, 200718 yr well it would be dull if the story's weren't so unbelievable at times  7:26 Jack Drives his car 7:54 He arrives 20 miles north of CTU and kicks butt
May 28, 200718 yr well it would be dull if the story's weren't so unbelievable at times  7:26 Jack Drives his car 7:54 He arrives 20 miles north of CTU and kicks butt Well, they managed it perfectly well and kept things fairly accurate, pretty damned exiting, and true to the idea in the first series Matt, more or less... Certainly more than less, like the recent series' have managed... Series one is still the best for me, all this stuff with Jack's dad and brother being this Corporate, "Illuminati" type of thing is just bloody daft tbh, and stretches credibility way over the edge.... David Palmer's brother suddenly showing up as the Prez all seemed a bit "EH?????" to me as well.... Suspension of Disbelief is one thing, but come on..... Best thing I'm liking about this series so far...? The Biscuit from "Ally McBeal" playing a weasly, nasty piece of work.....
June 3, 200718 yr Author I was surprised to see him in this series but I have to say he fits in perfectly.
June 3, 200718 yr I was surprised to see him in this series but I have to say he fits in perfectly. Actually, even though I find the sub-plot a wee bit silly and stretching credibility a bit far, I cannot fault the acting from James Cromwell as Jack's dad... He's in great form, his best role since the Police Chief in "LA Confidential".....
