I still maintain that, in character or otherwise, it's a disappointing angle to take to make cheap shots at LGBTQ+ people, especially when one of these songs acts as the lead single, but fair enough that he's at least being critical of the Slim Shady persona when rapping as Eminem.

Ultimately it’s why I love Eminem as an artist, his music is complex and a story. Yes, I agree with Joseph about the controversy against certain groups but often fall into the opinion that art can be challenging sometimes and usually go against the censorship side in reacting to it.
