I think Chromatica is one of her most consistent albums in terms of great songs. Certainly moreso than The Fame, ARTPOP, Joanne and ASIB soundtrack! :o

Have to disagree my second least favourite album only artpop underneath it. Fun tongiht, free woman, sine from above, plastic doll, enigma, replay are all below par for her

All of those are amazing except for Plastic Doll 😭😭 (another example of how divided her fans are on different eras )

Absolutely and i think that's amazing. But in some areas we all join together (Born This Way in particular)

Chromatics is really bad and uncommercial, just like Joanne, Artflop and Born This Flop tbh

Chromatica is absolutely her best album as a complete piece!

The others have at least some proper duds on them. She nailed it effortlessly with that.

Billboard's article about the song's success so far:

https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/...eek-1235758135/

After bowing with 2.78 million U.S. on-demand audio streams in its opening day, according to Luminate, “Smile” stayed around that daily streaming mark over the weekend. However, the song received a sizable streaming uptick on Monday (Aug. 19), with 3.52 million streams — a 34% gain from the day before. And the song just keeps growing – by publishing this Wednesday, the song had reached the top of both the Spotify Daily Top Songs USA and the real-time Apple Music charts. (The song has also performed very well in digital song sales, with over 14,000 sold over its first four days of release, as it has stayed atop the iTunes chart for nearly the entire time.)

Down to #2 on US iTunes. It's over!!1

(But no, I think it's fairly likely to be #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week - if streams hold up, who knows where it will go next week!)

#3 is on lock, I don't mind if it doesn't go higher than that. It's already a win.

On Spotify, there's still plenty of room to grow, especially in central Europe which is usually a strong market for her.

UK come on!!!

At least it’s consistently rising though. Should be looking at another top 10 tomorrow!

I’ll be frantically checking its debut position between catching flights to Munich for Adele.

“Die with a Smile” becomes Lady Gaga’s most streamed song in one day on US Spotify.

1. Die with a Smile - 2,302,933

2. Rain On Me - 2,234,783

UK AM:

13 +1 Noah Kahan - Stick Season

14 +1 Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile

15 -2 Dasha - Austin (Boots Stop Workin')

What does this need to do to overtake Stick never-ending Season goddammit

The UK Apple chart is an odd one as it shows charts of individual cities within the UK and it’s higher than #14 in each of those cities

I still think it’s due to peak here though and it’ll eventually get into that top 10 on both Apple and Spotify.
