Time for subs, it’s all gone stale. England need to put someone on who is hungry and wants to stake a claim.

Double substitution for England.

Going to be hard to give someone else the job which I don’t know if that is good or bad but a good much improved England from the Southgate era

Exactly!

And what’s with this ‘why doesn’t Carsley sing the national anthem nonsense being pushed by the right wing media??

We don't even have a national anthem for him to sing or not sing. The dreadful dirge played at England games is the UK anthem, not the English anthem. There isn't an English anthem. Furthermore, the dirge has nothing to do with the country; the verse used is about the monarch.

Couldn’t agree more, interesting how it’s the Daily Mail and Torygraph who are pushing this agenda!

Southgate literally got yous to the euros final 🤣

Depends how you look at it, maybe the players got HIM to the final

I agree with this tweet

And yet before he arrived yous had been humbled by Iceland at the previous euros, but no nothing to do with the values installed by the manager whatsoever……

Can't believe we're back talking about Southgate again :D

England played well in the 1st half, but lost control in the 2nd. Now whether that was fatigue or tactical I'm not sure. Personally, I just thought on the whole the team looked far more balanced. Shouln't be overlooked that these games against the Home Nations and Ireland, as much as England are the better team, the away legs are very difficult with the atmosphere.

Because the players stunk. Rooney was on his way out, it was the end of that generation and it showed plus the management was bad then who was it again? Hodgson and Gary Neville yeah even Southgate was an improvement on them two.

The fact is England have the potential to dominate the ball, dominate games and win by big scores and hopefully that starts to happen. Trent over Walker, Grealish as an attacking mid, never thought I’d see the day.

I think Stones is finished personally, his body is very injury prone and hopefully the Everton CB develops for the next tournament as I don’t fully trust Maguire apart from that promising signs especially as Foden and Bellingham were injured and a few others too
