Disease debuts at #19 on Billboard Pop Songs. Gaga's highest debut in 13 years since Born This Way landed at #14 in February 2011. Now out of 25 Gaga singles sent to US pop radio, only two missed the top 20: Perfect Illusion (#22) and G.U.Y. (#29).

Wow that's amazing!

 

Also, poor G.U.Y. - it's a true smash at the clubs these days.

I do love this still and it’s had at least one week UK top ten so I’ll take that. I do think we may get something more GP friendly on the album what could be pushed as the second single but I think this has all the elements of classic Gaga so I think it could be one of those tracks what might have a Judas esque appeal and it becomes a staple / fan favourite / strong streamer over the years but one that at the time doesn’t look like a huge hit.
