Two years after their third album 'How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me?', The Amazons are back with new single 'Living a Lie' on Friday! It's their first new music since drummer Joe left in 2022, with the band now a three-piece.

Quite a nice change in sound! They're now self-releasing, after previously being with Universal.

 

Takes a while to get going. And then doesn't go anywhere. Not their best!

I like this change of sound, sounds different, kinda a mix of The Cure and Depeche Mode?!

 

Don’t expect to hear it much on R1 if they aren’t on Universal anymore!

'Pitch Black' released a few weeks ago, and 'My Blood' is out on Jan 9th!

 

New album '21st Century Fiction' is out on May 9th.

 

Looking forward to hearing new stuff from them as I’m still loving ‘Living a Lie’!

New single 'My Blood' is the best of the three for me! This one was co-produced and written by Royal Blood's Mike Kerr.
