Britain 2020 had one of the most heart-in-mouth endings of all time, but the rest of the race was fairly unremarkable.

Australia 1989 isn't one I can recall anything about.

A really eventful one and a proper wet race.

It's the one where Senna's car suddenly appears through the spray as he smashes in to the back of Martin Brundle when lapping him.

There was all the aftermath of Senna/Prost in Japan, the race started before the cars were ready, Prost pulled out, several accidents, Senna showing his utter dominance in the wet, a brilliant rive by Nakajima and only 8 cars finishing in the end.

To be honest I should probably have given it points

Sounds like one to rewatch then! I did watch a bunch of 70s/80s highlight videos many years ago but last year I decided to rewatch all the highlights from 1994 onwards on F1TV. I'll need to re-venture a bit further back at some point.

Australia 92 is another where nothing immediately springs to mind. The 1992 season was basically a write off from page 1 really (obv great Nige finally got that deserved title but the season itself was meh).

Canada 2024 was a really interesting watch where everyone except Max was trying not to win. Last ever race with a full safety car too!

I agree about '92 in general, though it did have its moments. Australia was one - 20 laps of Senna hounding Mansell for the lead until they collided, with Berger shadowing Patrese right behid them. Then as Berger fell away Patrese retired leaving Berger to fend off a menacing looking Schumacher.

Weirdly I can recall that in great clarity but can't remember Canada this year that well at all.

The immortal quote. Controversy aside that was such a fantastic battle between the 2 Red Bulls, basically their version of Bahrain the season after.

About the only memorable race from the whole of that 2013 season!

Petrov with the widest Renault ever seen :D

2010 was a real strange season looking back. The championship battle was absolute fire but I don't recall any specific individually thrill-a-minute races. Even Abu Dhabi was a bit of damp squib once it became clear Webber was sacrificed to take Alonso out of Vettel's way.
