Posted October 20, 2024Oct 20 I tend to say the general public and myself prefer Dance Pop Kylie What about you?
October 20, 2024Oct 20 Author Yes agreed...... I genrally feel older fans are into Hold On To Now and All The Lovers where newer fans and progressive Kylie fans will go for the dancier side, which i also feel long term will do better streaming wise as Emotopop songs generally need to be a little longer ?
October 20, 2024Oct 20 I think that's probably a bit of a sweeping generalisation, especially as I know lots of fans from all different age groups. Somebody in their early 20s the other week at a Kylie night named ATL as their favourite when I asked. But okay :) Whatever you say.
October 20, 2024Oct 20 Luckily there is something I really love from each era apart from kiss me once and Christmas and even with those 2, there are a couple of songs I like. Kylie has successfully managed to pull off a few very different styles of music over the years that for me set her apart from other artists as she keeps been kylie through it all. Pop Kylie for me is where her strength is though.
October 20, 2024Oct 20 I did say 'generally' lol not every single one I also don't see why you needed to use such a loaded word like "progressive" to make your point, like I don't see what's so progressive about somebody only being able to handle a 2 minute song because they have the attention span of a gnat.
October 23, 2024Oct 23 Both but I’m kind of a bit bored of emotopop Kylie now as it’s kind of sounding a bit forced (as seen on HOTN). I think she peaked with emotopop with The One and ATL.
