Pitchfork reshared their Chromatica review, and I think this is one of the earliest mentions of Monster and Bloody Mary becoming TikTok favourites. Mind you, that was THREE YEARS ago so it took another 2.5 years to Bloody Mary actually take off.

Even when Gaga dons freaky costumes or writes high-concept songs about Judas or swine, the artifice cracks. It’s why her albums hold up surprisingly well. It’s telling which Gaga moments have resurfaced from the early 2010s into current cultural memory: the deadpan, panting intro to “Monster,” or the sludgy-gothy “Bloody Mary,” which TikTok made even sludgier and gothier.

The chipmunk version, where you can't hear the awful lyrics, not the real version!

It's the sped up and original versions combined. :rtd:

Sure combined as in 5 people listening to the normal bersion and all the rest foe rhe chipmunk version

5. Lady Gaga, “Bloody Mary” (531.7 million)

5th biggest hit of the year in the US, eligible for 4x Platinum :cheeseblock:

No official video, TTH, sped up version, remixes, alt versions, and not even a lyric video. She wins even having the worst manager and the worst recording company on her side.

Now imagine if she cared about her music career the same way she cares about her film career :deadbanana:
