Could be looked at both ways! Did you start to dislike Mariah after the switch from Pop ballads to R&B?

I like all Mariah's music, but It's Like That made me a fan

My All made me a fan. But I'd liked 'Without You' before that. When I bought the best of album in 1998 I realised I liked all of her songs.

It was the song Emotions that made me a fan. :)

That's pretty far back for this forum. Do you have all her albums?

I have all of her albums now and I only became a fan after It's Like That :P. I have never disliked her music and remember when Honey and Heartbreaker were out and I did like them loads, but I was never a die hard fan. When I bought her albums and listened to her songs more and more I realised that she really does have the best voice of any female singer and that she isn't only talented vocally, but writes her own material, produces or co-produces all of her records and is simply... well the best.. she really is.

That is indeed a long time ago, Emotions.

Vision Of Love for me, yes I am an old school Mariah fan.

i love her to death and i will always stay her ahrdcore fans not imprtant what music she does.... I was a old school mariah fan but as i grew up i changed as mariah did now i like the new mariah the same i love the old one.. she still createst amazing music. But i also have to admit, that i don't like more songs of her new ones than in previous years...
Hmm. I began to really like her after 'Hero' and 'Without you'. The first single I bought was 'Anytime you need a friend'

I was similar. I really liked 'One Sweet Day' and 'Honey' but I was going through an indie/britpop phase for years so I could not quite buy a Mariah record.

So glad that all changed. I don't get half as much joy from any other artist but Mariah.

Mainly when she came back with Emancipation Of MiMi & Its Like That, thats when i got into her
I loved Against All Odds first, then went off her again then fell in love with It's Like That, so either one of those really. ^_^
