Personally I don't think he anything wrong the first time round back in 2023 but this time was a big faux pas, intentional or not. Unfortunately having already been on rocky ground (rightly or wrongly) this is one step too far.

So his final ever televised appearance on BBC will come on Sunday then for the final day of this premier league season. I wonder which pundits will join him...

Feel sorry for him slightly- look, what he shared this time was totally inappropriate and anti-Semitic. Judging from his reaction, I’m not sure he understood what he necessarily sharing, but it put the BBC in a very difficult position. He’s a fantastic presenter and he’s owned up to his error straight away which is commendable but I do think he was naive in sharing what he did, even if it was well intended in the current context.
