Just out of interest, which ITV2 series of Big Brother did you prefer and why?

 

For me it would be last year's series as it didn't feel an nasty taste in the mouth compared to this years series. The last week felt very rushed and too many twists.

This year. More dynamic cast, best tasks in years, AJ and Will have improved a lot and the winner was perfect! Last year felt a bit too sanitised for me but still enjoyed it.

this year was an overly manipulated mess. In fact it was more contrived and manipulated than most Channel 5 era BBs

 

Both series were too short for the amount of HMs. They either need to cut down the amount of HMs, or lengthen the series. As the final weeks are just overly rushed and ridiculous. It sort of feels ITV doesn’t have confidence in the show to only cast 12 HMs for the 6 week length, or that viewers won’t be interested in a longer series.

I slightly preferred last year, Ali was a massive part of my enjoyment of it this year but I this year I did feel big brother did too much manipulation.

There's not much in it but we were gifted with Ali and Lily this year, so I'm gonna have to vote for the 2024 series.

Last year without a doubt - the casting was varied and almost everyone brought something to the show, even the unlikeable ones added a layer of drama and ultimately, the "good" side triumphed. More characters to root for throughout the series too.

 

This year had good moments, I didn't hate it, and I was generally rooting for Ali, but she wasn't on the level of Yinrun last year for example. More meddling this year didn't help either, and the casting felt less inspired.
