I imagine she would be able to squeeze some songs that got left out from Coachella due to time restraints.My guess would be the rest of Mayhem (unfortunately ‘Blade of Grass’ too), and perhaps ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Applause’? I’d love if ‘Rain On Me’ gets factored in, but it doesn’t really fit with the aesthetic of the stage and theme.
April 27Apr 27 Went today to her show, and it was a blast as expected! The show is very grand, the vocals were top notch, the theatrics and the story are everything you could imagine them to be. She even prepared a little letter in Spanish and read it out loud 🥺From the new songs I think ‘Vanish Into You’ went off the most. But maybe it is due to the girl to the right from me — if she could ascend to the sky during this song, she would!My only small cons were the complete omission of everything between ‘Born This Way’ and ‘Mayhem’ eras bar ‘Shallow’. Sonically it made sense I guess, but I’d been happy with 1-2 inclusions from there too. And I think this rich and detailed staging isn’t exactly for the stadiums, because for 80-90% of the seats / general area you could only see something from the screens and only get the overall picture. But it all didn’t take out of the whole experience obviously, and I guess I’ll just watch the Coachella performance for the stage and all. 😝
April 27Apr 27 Great that you had fantastic time!I guess we are spoiled that we have seen most of the show properly streamed already so the surprise factor isn't there any more, but it happens with all tours these days to some extent. It's also good that one can revisit the show later.
April 27Apr 27 I’m so happy you get to see the Mexican show, and that Spanish letter to you and the rest of her Mexican fans was so adorable!! ❤️I agree re: staging for stadium comment. I’ve seen an overview and the staging is minuscule compared to her audience. Hopefully with her doing arena tours later for the ‘Mayhem Ball Tour’, fans can get the full visual experience that Gaga intended her set to have. Edited April 27Apr 27 by Oricon
