• final chart week for the year! Next week officially starts the 2025 charting year, a rare 53-week period
• Top 3 is the same meaning IVE & David Guetta grab the Christmas #1 with "Supernova Love", the first for both. This is also the first time two K-pop acts have gotten simultaneous Christmas #1's with (G)I-DLE grabbing it last year. With the song sampling "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" it kinda also counts as the first holiday song to grab #1?
• "Criminals" shoots all the way to #4 - could that challenge for #1 in the future?
• Two new songs enter the top 10: Kylie Minogue grabs her second career top 10 with "Lights Camera Action" and LE SSERAFIM grab their highest peaking song with "Crazy" following numerous year-end festival performances.
• greatest gainer this week is "Strategy" up 11 spots to #25
• "Popular" becomes the first Wicked track to chart, logging in at #43 and surely setting Ariana up for another successful year chartwise
• TWICE also add to their chart tally with B-side/holiday track "Magical" debuting at #48. There are currently 12 songs from K-pop artists on the chart (14 counting K-pop adjacent acts like KATSEYE, maybe 15 including BINI which is sorta K-pop adjacent since they appeared in KCON?)
