considering is it over now is the newest song in the league (and i believe it was a fairly recent add) some of these could be on next year

I was scrolling through the Capital website and found this page: https://www.capitalfm.com/artists/charli-xcx/music/ it literally has ‘Chains of Love’ on it and Capital and Capital Buzz haven’t playlisted it…

Maybe because they played I Love It and 1999 in the past. As for COL, either they are yet to playlist the song or they played it during the big top 40

It also seems to me that 12 songs that made the year end list were from last year and Somedays from 2024 has now also appeared making the total 13 even though Messy, PPC and NTMY also appeared from last year. We didn’t even hear any pop culture moments of 2025 during the show

I’d say some of those pop culture moments included Taylor and Travis engaged, Laboos, that weird Coldplay gig, Katy Perry in Space, Lily Allen’s album, the Jet2 meme, several good films including Sinners and Zootopia 2, 67 and Beyoncé’s album win at the Grammys

we didnt get the playlist this week so its very possible it was intended to be added this week
