As much as chaotic races are entertaining I do like this era when reliability issues are less common as it makes for a much more fair title fight based more on ability and not sheer luck.

The 1961 Dutch GP is also one of only 2 in history where no driver made a pitstop. The other? Belgium 2021

Max Verstappen has ended questions about his future by saying that he will definitely stay with Red Bull for next season.

The four-time world champion is under contract to Red Bull until 2028 but had been courted by Mercedes and had been considering his options.

Verstappen said at the Hungarian Grand Prix: "I've never really said anything about it because I was just focused on talking to the team about how we can improve our performance, future ideas for next year as well. And that's why I have nothing really to add ever.

Kinda a shame, would have loved to see what he could have done in another team and not one entirely built around him. However, given the most likely seat it seemed he would have taken was Russell's I'm glad he's not been undeservedly ousted.

Not at all, if it's anything like last week we'll just be sitting around wasting our afternoon until the track is bone dry then we'll have a rolling start.

That crash opened the door for the first and so far only ever Hungarian to drive in F1, Zsolt Baumgartner.

And also it was the race where Fernando Alonso won his first Grand Prix.

Just thought I'd try something a bit different to whet the appetite for the upcoming Grand Prix.

The forecast for Hungaroring is now showing only some showers in the morning Sunday, should be cleared out long before race time.
