October 2Oct 2 Author If it went down to the final race, maybe Sky Sports will show it live on Channel 4 a lá 2021.
October 2Oct 2 Author Formula 1's governing body has declared this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix a 'heat hazard' race. The FIA's ruling, triggered because temperatures are predicted to exceed 31C amid high humidity in the tropical environment, means drivers could be using cooling vests during the race.Using the vests is not mandatory but teams must fit the system to their cars to ensure any drivers not using them does not gain an advantage by having a lighter car.The Singapore Grand Prix marks the first time a race has been designated as a heat hazard under a new rule that was introduced this year. However, it will not be the first time drivers have used the vests - teams have been testing them intermittently through the year.
October 2Oct 2 good that we’re calling the heat hazard warnings now, we don’t want a repeat of Qatar 2023 where half the grid was on the verge of passing out by the end
October 5Oct 5 You could watch the first lap. Have a long doze and then tune in for the most exciting part of the race - the final lap. Here you can watch Alonso's 40 second gap to Hamilton shrink on the timing sidebar, whilst the TV cameras show absolutely none of it
October 5Oct 5 TV direction was crap, completely ignored Antonelli vs the Ferraris in the last 10 laps as well.
October 6Oct 6 Author Amazing how awful FOM was yesterday especially in the last 10 laps. I know it was important to keep track of Max and Lando, but they just completely failed to tell the story of Antonelli v Leclerc, Hamilton on the softs, and Sainz and Alonso coming back through the field.
October 7Oct 7 I'm pretty sure Charles Leclerc's girlfriend has had more screen time this year than Colapinto
October 17Oct 17 Author Apple has won the rights to broadcast Formula 1 in the United States for the next five years in deal said to be worth about $750m (£558m) in total. The agreement, which starts in 2026 and for which insiders say Apple is paying approximately $150m (£111.6m) a year, will make F1 available to all Apple TV subscribers in America as part of their standard monthly fee.It is the first time Apple have ventured into sports broadcasting in this manner
October 19Oct 19 McLaren is doing such a horrible job at damage control bc they’ve fostered such a toxic fandom and put their drivers on such a tight leash that anything they say or do will feed conspiracy theories by solo Lando and solo Oscar stans alike. I saw a post on social media that said that the team still has a midfield mentality when both of their drivers are leading and they just won the Constructors last GP and honestly I think that could be true 😂good on Lando for defending Oscar during the post sprint interviews, I know the media has been waiting to feed on this frenzy all week 🙄
