All of the commentary has been completed. Sorry for the late response to this. During the few weeks or so, I'll be counting down the results on who you have voted as your driver of F1 2024. Enjoy. Here's what happened last year: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=268417
January 3Jan 3 Author 4 24TH: SERGIO PEREZ 1.166 DZOx_soNFqY k_U2m_1GJiw the worst of the worst, should have been kicked halfway thru the season, his head was not there for the last races a compete embarrassment save from a few races at the start of the season, completely out of his depth in qualifying especially and cost RBR the constructors title probably in the worst 5 seasons since i started watching f1
January 3Jan 3 Author 2 23RD: LOGAN SARGEANT 1.75 qzB4JdWDiTU just no completely failed to kick on despite getting a largely undeserved second shot, absolutely hopeless in qualifying once again and then became too crash happy was let down by Williams in some ways (giving Albon his car) which would have dented confidence, but did nothing close to warranting any more time
January 3Jan 3 Author 3 22ND: LANCE STROLL 2.166 APthh-jlP6Q csEvcs8fo4s should be ashamed and give upeasily his worst year to date despite being 8 seasons in, completely outperformed in every department and some unforgivable mistakes (*cough* Brazil) to top it off getting worse
January 3Jan 3 Definitely the correct bottom 3, lol at Perez's score - is that even lower than Mazepin in 2021?
January 4Jan 4 Author Definitely the correct bottom 3, lol at Perez's score - is that even lower than Mazepin in 2021? This is what Mazepin got: 21ST: NIKITA MAZEPIN 2.5 ZGAiPU2iIN8 ExladqeC_yM
January 6Jan 6 Author 21ST: JACK DOOHAN 4 (By virtue of being rated 5 times compared to the 6 of the other driver) Ks3Xb-3hLn8 not amazed by himnot a lot to go off with just the one outing, qualifying last was not an ideal start but drove a solid unspectacular race, keeping out of trouble
January 6Jan 6 Author 6 20TH: DANIEL RICCIARDO (By virtue of getting 6 rates out of 6) v4NAw-RKW7g disappointing had a golden opportunity to impress and grab the second senior team seat but offered very little save for a strong sprint race in Miami, seldom looked impressive against his teammate just utterly disappointing, painful to watch his most recent years given I was once such a fan. please let this be the end.
January 7Jan 7 Such a shame about Ricciardo. He'll be remembered as someone like Montoya. Came in a with a decent reputation, was fairly aggressive, impressed early on, won a hatful of races, then switched teams and his inability to master the technical and setup side of the sport eventually became his undoing. He really was very promising once
January 7Jan 7 Author 2 19TH: ZHOU GUANYU 4.166 ffka_vscHW0 shouldn't be in F1 his euphoric moment in Qatar is not enough to save what's been a largely disappointing season, he was utterly annihilated in the quali H2H against Bottas and showed very little else on race days bumped up by a cracking drive in Qatar
January 7Jan 7 Zhou has always been perfectly OK as a driver in F1. OK though just isn't good enough.
January 7Jan 7 He's a very risk averse driver so seldom gets into tangles but at the expense of all out speed.
January 8Jan 8 Author 2 18TH: VALTTERI BOTTAS 4.5 cIwfmaM-SFU should have retired ages ago despite not scoring he has been unlucky to have such a terrible car in likely his last season as he thoroughly outclassed his teammate and could have pulled off some eye-catching results in better machinery knocked down by that showing in Abu Dhabi. a shame to watch him at times
January 9Jan 9 Author 1 17TH: KEVIN MAGNUSSEN 5.166 rBO2wEusVCk too aggressive in a bad way, so many errors, anther one that should have retired ages ago put in some super drives here and there but was comprehensively outperformed by his teammate in both quali & races and showed his dirty side with questionable driving tactics culminating in an unprecedented race ban did ok at times, but probably right that this is his time in F1 up
January 10Jan 10 Author 4 16TH: (By virtue of having no 7s ESTEBAN OCON 5.416 AH5wG32TiaI nracbDwF0Ik 9VUv_h7XCCo Gasly obliterated hima markedly average season, losing again in the standings to his teammate but the pace was pretty close - the big highlight of Brazil putting some gloss on the year just average generally, marked down for the way he lost his seat
January 10Jan 10 Author 15TH: FRANCO COLAPINTO (By virtue of having one 7 5.416 LomAPVvQu8Y started well but too many errors of latestarted off with a fanfare first few races but his stock has plummeted after some silly mistakes, definitely deserved his spot over Sargeant and should be back on the grid sometime down the line excitement followed by poor
January 10Jan 10 Author 9 14TH: ALEXANDER ALBON (By virtue of having no 7s) 5.66666667 sZsakOHSwA4 ok-ish at mosta very strong start to campaign but completely derailed in the final third with many uncharacteristic mistakes and weak drives, will be interesting to see him against a strong teammate again next season think this was his least impressive season in Williams, some costly crashes
January 10Jan 10 The only one I think looks hard done by in that list is Bottas. He hasn't been amazing or anything but the car has made some decent performances here and there look worse than they were
