I used to be a fan of them in the early 1980's with songs like "Once in a lifetime", "And she was" and "The road to nowhere".

Any other fans.

'road to nowhere' was my fav.... indeed byrne was a very clever songwriter 'youve said that once, why say it again'! lol..

imho, VERY underrated

Great band - 'Once in a Lifetime' probably my favourite.

Also the offshoot Tom Tom Club are totally worth checking out.

A brilliant band - I bought their Sand In The Vaseline compiliation after they split.

My fav track by them is:

Cities (taken from 1979 Fear Of Music album) (Live in Rome 1980)

Psycho Killer's my fave.... GREAT band, though, as were Tom Tom Club.....

Well, the likes of Franz Ferdinand and Interpol certainly remember them.....

TH were indeed a great band, one of these incredibly under-rated bands, but really important to listen to if you're into Indie music in any way... Devo are another band people need to listen to...

well they are Scottish arent they!!! must have that Scottish post-punk vibe thing going through them i suppose

Franz Ferdinand are supposed to sound like loads of old Scottish acts/bands not only David Byrne, also Joseph K and Orange Juice. these must be alright then

talking heads????: a great way to open a film last year

tmf were doing a one hit wonders countdown the other day with william shatner and they had Devo on it. the rest was american slush as it was a us vh1 show.

devo could be interesting to investigate.

and obv not forgetting the Rugrats theme, esp when it launched into BLACKstreet, Mya and Blinky Bill from the film.
