Posted January 15, 200718 yr I used to be a fan of them in the early 1980's with songs like "Once in a lifetime", "And she was" and "The road to nowhere". Any other fans.
January 16, 200718 yr 'road to nowhere' was my fav.... indeed byrne was a very clever songwriter 'youve said that once, why say it again'! lol.. imho, VERY underrated
January 16, 200718 yr Great band - 'Once in a Lifetime' probably my favourite. Also the offshoot Tom Tom Club are totally worth checking out.
January 20, 200718 yr A brilliant band - I bought their Sand In The Vaseline compiliation after they split. My fav track by them is: cK6_7N33S_8 Cities (taken from 1979 Fear Of Music album) (Live in Rome 1980)
January 31, 200718 yr Well, the likes of Franz Ferdinand and Interpol certainly remember them..... TH were indeed a great band, one of these incredibly under-rated bands, but really important to listen to if you're into Indie music in any way... Devo are another band people need to listen to...
January 31, 200718 yr Well, the likes of Franz Ferdinand certainly remember them..... well they are Scottish arent they!!! must have that Scottish post-punk vibe thing going through them i suppose Franz Ferdinand are supposed to sound like loads of old Scottish acts/bands not only David Byrne, also Joseph K and Orange Juice. these must be alright then talking heads????: a great way to open a film last year  this is the one from Clerks 2. this is probs their best JRpyZ_5wdoE the wild wild life one from Open Season alright, but not as good http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9e/Open_Season.jpg and not forgetting Lazy . they dont make records like this in danceville no more  eaklIABFoAc TH were indeed a great band, one of these incredibly under-rated bands, but really important to listen to if you're into Indie music in any way... Devo are another band people need to listen to... tmf were doing a one hit wonders countdown the other day with william shatner and they had Devo on it. the rest was american slush as it was a us vh1 show. devo could be interesting to investigate. and obv not forgetting the Rugrats theme, esp when it launched into BLACKstreet, Mya and Blinky Bill from the film. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/64/Rugrats.JPG
