Alright, so with 2024 being kinda mild (chart) success for Dua's third album, what do we want from our girl in 2025?!

As we all know, she will be busy touring during the whole year and it seems to be pretty successful with plenty dates already sold out, but music wise we can all agree that she needs to come up with something fresh, bold and longevity.

Perhaps a duet with some high profile artist could work on her favor as well?!!

Discuss.

I can't see anything happening until after the tour. Dua looks super loved up with Calum and they're apparently engaged now. She will go sightseeing in every city and go on dates with Calum in between shows, podcasting, fashion brand deals, basically everything but record new music :selena:

Obviously I'm happy for her and she worked hard to live her best life. I would love a new era soon though. Just doesn't seem realistic as there's been no news of her working on any new music.

I think we’ll see some features at best this year. Hoping for her to hop on that Calvin track teased last summer that Miley stopped from happening.

Is that what actually happened with the Calvin one?

Are there any soundtracks in 2025 that she could lend her vocals to (or hand over an album reject like she did before with Barbie)?

Was that actually an album reject? I read that Mark Ronson wrote it specifically for the Barbie soundtrack and then slid into Dua's DMs to ask her to record it.

Oh I read that somewhere on BuzzJack so I guess I should have checked the source first. :P

I think Dua will be doing song writing this year whilst on tour with new music coming out in 2026.
I don’t think she can risk being away for too long though. The gap between FN and RO was justifiable because of how massive FN was. RO basically stopped at Glastonbury and hasn’t had the hits to give the era some legs.
