I think they're in with a very good shout of winning both the awards they're nominated for in all honesty! :o :cheer:

I agree they should win Best Album. ^_^ The nominations for that catergory suprised me a little though, as I thought maybe Razorlight or The Feeling may have bein nominated but it seems not.

I think Best British Group will be tough though. I reckon Snow Patrol will come out on top with that even though I hop The Arctics do. ^_^

Muse might win British Group but yeah Snow Patrol might win it despite the fact apart from Chasing Cars and a few other tracks their new album was very disappointing :(

I like their latst album. :P Some of there songs though are a bit bleugh though. :( I also don't get the point at all for that - track either.

Hopefully they can win both awards but if not I hope that Kasabian manage to win British Group. :D I do actually think they have a very good chance though seeing as a lot of the time the Brits winners seem to be what's been hyped the most.

Well I think the last time I looked at the odds they were behind Muse in terms of odds, but well that's only the bookmakers opinions and what other people think so yeah. ^_^

And for best album i'm sure Muse were nominated for the Mercury prize which The Arctics won, so I would say they have a very good chance. :D ^_^

Muse are probably the biggest competition but Arctic Monkeys did have bigger album sales in 2006 didn't they? Hopefully that will help the situation.

I think The Arctics have roughly sold double what Muse have sold.

But both albums recived critical acclaim in 2006 and tbh I would say its between those two, but we never know, another album might win! :o

I think the suprise contender could possibly be Amy Winehouse because during the few weeks we are into 2007 she seems as though she's going to have an amazing 2007.

Thats what I was thinking. :P That gained lots of praise from the critics as well, so I think she's the dark horse.

I would have said Lily Allen possibly had Amy not been there but I think Amy's brilliant voice will pull her through more.

Yeah Lilly Allen is another dark horse, well infact they're all dark horses. Each of the five that are nominated all have a good chnace of winning. ^_^

Well I'd still personaly say that Muse and Arctics are the main contenders and imo the best two in the running. :D

Well Done to the Arctic Monkeys.

I'm delighted that they deservedly won Best Album, although I think the Best Group decision could have gone to nearly all the acts nominated in that category.

I think they sounded very arrogant in their acceptance speech video thingies. :(
