Posted January 16, 200718 yr Ok, like the other thread, as this gets quite alot of attention on these parts of the boards 'Last Of The Famous International Playboys' and close 2nd, 'My Love Life' What about you lot?
January 16, 200718 yr Last Of The Famous International Playboys - Dirty Pretty Things have a song called 'Last Of The Small Town Playboys' and Carl Barât said he'd never heard the LOTFIP  Good album but that song isn't among their best. Also Irish Blood, English Heart - Mainly for the genius way he slags off both the royals and the the main political parties  "I've been dreaming of a time when the English are sick to death of Labour and Tories and spit upon the name Oliver Cromwell" And after such a long time away it was such a great comeback and at the time got him his biggest solo hit ever and has since then keeps doing well in the singles chart which he never used to do. :o
January 16, 200718 yr mainly album tracks for me....... Trouble Loves Me - probably the only great track off Maladjusted - but it's a classic Now My Heart is Full is just gorgeous Life is a Pigsty - the highlight of Ringleader - majestic stuff Alsation Cousin - Viva Hate's vitriolic, nasty, twisted opener - a triumph Irish Blood English Heart - great stuff - Moz getting ANGRY The Harsh Truth of the Camera Eye - the much-maligned Kill Uncle album is full of almost-undiscovered gems - this is stunning stuff. You're Gonna Need Someone on your Side - rocking stuff - surly, cocky...and CLASSIC Moz

January 16, 200718 yr Not entirely sure why, but... 'Pregnant for the Last Time' and I loved 'Interesting Drug' when it came out.
January 16, 200718 yr Not really a huge fan of his solo work in comparison to The Smiths, but I did really like 'Irish Blood, English Heart'.
January 17, 200718 yr Why Dont You Find Out For Yourself is probably my favorite. Has anyone heard the Killers cover of it? I have it if anyone would like me to send it to them, its quite good. I believe Brandon Flowers recorded it well before Hot Fuss was released, and I got my hands on it a few years ago.
January 19, 200718 yr This will be a surprise but: "Angel, Angel, down we go together" :) very short, but genious anyway.

January 19, 200718 yr This will be a surprise but: "Angel, Angel, down we go together" very short, but genious anyway. :) Should have said "Seasick, Yet still docked". Well, both of them.
March 21, 200718 yr I think The Ordinary Boys is exceptionally good, and also the 2 extra tracks on Viva Hate - Pashernate Love and Girl Least Likely To. Of course, I am avoiding the obvious picks (Everyday..., First Of The Gang)
March 21, 200718 yr Author The Ordinary Boys is class B) can't believe so many people criticize his earlier solo-albums
