Mariah’s brother Morgan mention Mariah briefly in an interview with 360-X online:

 

360-X: How did you become involved with the music industry?

I was trying to help my sister, [Mariah Carey] break through at the beginning and get her into the game. A good friend of mine, Gavin Christopher, cut her first demo and I later hired Ben Marguiles to work with her. They went on to write a number of the hits on her first album together. I actually walked her by the hand up to Seymour Stein’s office at Sire with that demo. Back then I knew a lot of industry people from having worked in the clubs so I played her stuff for anybody I knew who would listen; Billy Idol, Nona Hendryx, Tina B, The System, etc. Not long after, Mariah and Tommy [Mottola] got together and it went where it went.

 

 

360-x: Tell me about the K-Town project.

I told YG that Skull would be perfect for a part in our movie, K-Town. Mariah [Carey] will be playing a part in it, and I thought it would be a great way to introduce YG Entertainment [a record label in Korea] to the U.S.

 

My plan is to release the soundtrack through YG Entertainment, and have a few tracks from YG artists. It’s an action driven drama with cross-cultural dilemmas at its core. I can’t really say anymore, you’ll just have to see it when it comes out.

He lookes Chinese. :blink: I know Mariah is mixed race, but I thought her mother was white and her father was black? :unsure: I'm not quite sure how Chinese comes into it... anywho, I don't think Mariah should be entering films so freely just to help out her brother, I know it will give the film a lot more exposure since it's Mariah, but come on after Glitter, we don't head into films lightly Mariah. :arrr:

Here's a video of Alison Carey singing, I reallly like her voice! Also her mannerisms and voice are the same as Mariah's :lol:! She sounds like her singing in parts too, it's a shame she has HIV and she was a prostitute and smokes loads cause she has a really good voice, she could have made it in music too I think :(

I've worked at a couple of local papers over the years. When I lived in Cork, this paper printed pictures of all the MPs that had just elected. Then accidentally printed a picture of a man who'd been deposed after 30 years. It did not go down well.

 

This other time, the editors got two bald guys mixed up and put this man's photo in to match an article about someone 40 years older. Ouch.
