26 Matt Berninger - "Bonnet of Pins": I saw it mentioned that this track was like a combination of Echo & The Bunnymen and The War on Drugs by way of New Order, and feel that to be pretty apt. Exciting track with beautiful harmonies in the chorus. This is Berninger's twelfth appearance on the chart in some capacity, after The National tracks "The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness" (#1 for 2 weeks), "Day I Die" (#4) (from 2017's 'Sleep Well Beast'); "You Had Your Soul With You" (#9), "Rylan" (#25), and "Quiet Light" (#4) from 2019's 'I Am Easy to Find'); the Phoebe Bridgers collaboration "Your Mind Is Not Your Friend" (#14) and "Tropic Morning News" (#22) from early 2023's 'First Two Pages of Frankenstein'; "Weird Goodbyes" (#7), "Space Invader" (#1 for 2 weeks), and "Deep End (Paul's In Pieces"" (#1 for 1 week) (from late-2023's 'Laugh Track');, the previously-charting solo song "European Son" (#18 in spring 2021) and the collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers "Walking on a String" (#20 in January 2020)

27 Sam Fender - "Little Bit Closer": Sam Fender has had a dynamite run on the chart in recent years with every charting song hitting the top couple spots, and if chart history is any indication, this third anthemic single off of his most recent release 'People Watching' will be no exception. Another high point for the rising start. "Little Bit Closer" is Sam's sixth charting song, after "Get You Down" (#2), "Alright (#2), "Wild Grey Ocean" (#1 for 1 week) from 2021's 'Seventeen Going Under', and "People Watching" (#1 for 3 weeks) and "Arm's Length" (currently in the top spot) from the recently-release 'People Watching'.

29 Pale Blue Eyes - "Pieces of You": This is the second single off of the Yorkshire dream-poppers' third album 'New Place', dreamy and hazy guitar driven indie pop banger reminiscent of Drab Majesty and other 80s-influenced contemporaries. A lovely song from a wonderful album, "Pieces of You" is their third charting song, after "Star Vehicle" (#16 in summer 2022) and "Green Eyes" (#9 in summer 2023).
