Posted January 17, 200718 yr Just read this on some ana website: A reduced packaging with no booklets and cheaper: Sony BMG sends a new package line into shops. On February 2nd SonyBMG release their first new 'Discbox-Slider' packaging which has less impact on the environment and no booklets but a lower price. The first editions will be only available until the end of April. They will start with some Best Of Albums by artists like Anastacia, Toni Braxtion, Bruce Springsteen, Britney Spears and others. http://www.anastacia-uncensored.com/news/data/upimages/discboxslider.jpg

January 17, 200718 yr With no booklets  , to be honest I prefer a decent package which gives decent value for money, once CDwow or play gets stocks of these they will go for nothing
January 17, 200718 yr Once again they're p*ssing around with box designs - just give us value for money on the standard packaging!

January 18, 200718 yr Bloody cheapskates, I want the booklets with the lyrics and everything. Exactly, that's all that stops me from just buying pirate CD's off friends.
January 18, 200718 yr I suspect the booklet costs more then the production of the CD. Would be interesting to know the breakdown if anyone has anything like this.
January 18, 200718 yr The only reason why people still buy albums is booklets and art. Why would anyone buy a cheap material that you can make in your own house...
