Journalism is cool - was sorta interested in it once upon a time - anything that involves creative writing I guess.

And it really isn't as exciting as you'd think. I was interested in the creative writing part of it as well, but i'm disappointed tbh. Most of the time we're told what to write and how to write it

TBH I would've thought Journalism would require good creative writing skills though that depends which paper you work for I guess - The Sun and co's writers must spend all their time making up stories about someone or other.

Well most of the papers follow a style guide.. which are basically a set of guidelines that dictate how you write a story and what sort of language to use etc.. all a bit dull, really :(
