Even though I know I disagree with a lot of people in this thread on footballing matters.. I think we can all take solodice that we're already bored of the Gyokores celebration and he's not even score

I think Mbeumo would be a good signing, him and Cunha could possibly bounce off each other a bit similar to Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke. After how last season turned out even the smallest of steps woul

There is still plenty of work to be done, and a clearout should be the priority, but it depends who is interested in approaching big waged Rashford, Sancho etc. I need Jean-Philippe Mateta to join U

Unlucky Liverpool looks like you’re stuck with Chiesa

There's no way we won't buy another forward. For what it's worth, I think he still leaves. Think you'd see someone like Paul Joyce or James Pearce pouring cold water over it if we felt the deal was impossible.

As I’ve said before if only we could be like Man United and fire 300m out every transfer window after failing again and again.

Makes your salty tears about City spending money even more hilarious.

Yeh, and what did we spend last summer?

Nunez, Mcallaster, Szoboszlai, Gakpo weren’t cheap that’s all I know

No football players are cheap. All clubs spent money, it’s part of the game. I guess Steve’s point is while we’ve spent a lot of money this summer, all the clubs have, and continently we’ve also made about £160m in sales and spent £15m last season.

Still think there's less than 10% chance you get Isak.

I’d agree at this point!

It just seems like it's at loggerheads at the moment. Reading between the lines it looks like Newcastle gave us the greenlight but the Saudi overlords came in and flat out rejected everything. It sounds an absolute mess behind the scenes at Newcastle and a complete internal power struggle. Like I say though, usually we pour cold water when we have no chance via a couple of journalists but not happened yet and the mainstream ones connected to Agents (Indykalia, Romano) still insist there's a good chance.

As I’ve suspected, if Isak was really off the table we’d have poured cold water of it. It just sounds unbelievably messy from Newcastle. People can say “oh he’s got 3 years on his contract” but players ask to leave all the time, it’s part of football. No idea if it gets done still, but it sounds utterly toxic.

Isak not coming out of this well at all.

If you read between the lines, he told Newcastle he wanted to go last season, then when they got in the Champions League they changed their mind. Does seem like he was promised a lot and they’ve not delivered. I think it will get done but end of the window.

Bournemouth are interested in FC Midtjylland winger Darío Osorio.

The 21-year-old left-footed right-winger has the profile of the type of player Andoni Iraola wants in his squad for the forthcoming campaign, particularly with interest intensifying for Dango Ouattara.

Bournemouth have confirmed the sale of defender Illia Zabarnyi to PSG.

The deal is worth £54.5m (€63m) guaranteed with €3m add-ons.

Bournemouth were reluctant to sell but the player expressed his desire to leave and PSG was his destination of choice.
