July 19, 200618 yr Some great news, thanks to Holy from TRWS ^_^ Scotty - I feel honoured to be regarded as so saintly :D :P It is good to see salses holding up so well in Germany - and hopefully seeing an extra boost now due to the tour. It is Greatest hits doing better in the UK this year. I was expecting Intensive Care to pick up in September once the tour reaches the UK . It will be interesting to see the effect of the new album release has around the same time though.
July 19, 200618 yr I have no idea who Tokio Hotel are. Remember that Intensive Care was released last year and sold a vast amount before Christmas. This chart relates to sales during 2006 only - so #6 is impressive :)
July 19, 200618 yr Tokio Hotel before Robbie??????????!!!!!!!!!!! What do you think about them? I really don't like them. <_< But that is the list from Germany and because they are before Robbie. -_-
July 19, 200618 yr Scotty - I feel honoured to be regarded as so saintly :D :P    My mistake ^_^ btw, do you know what IC's sales are so far for this year in Germany?
January 2, 200718 yr Advertising space by Robbie Williams was outstanding in swedish radio charts 2006. "Sweden Top 40" is a swedish chart combining sales (50 %) and the amount of plays a song gets in radio and television channels (50 %) in a similar way to the american Billboard chart. The "Sweden Top 40" is presented every saturday by RIX FM, the biggest commercial radio channel in Sweden. When the chart for the year 2006 was summed up, Advertising space was outstanding with 43 weeks in the chart. No other song was near that amount of weeks. The 5 top songs 2006 in the chart were: 1. Robbie Williams - Advertising space 2. Cascada - Everytime we touch 3. Madonna - Sorry 4. James Blunt - Goodbye my lover 5. Scissor Sisters - I don't feel like dancin' The song "She's Madonna" by Robbie Williams isn't yet a single but is already climbing both in the "Sweden Top 40" chart and in the swedish "Singles chart" (most sold or downloaded songs). Thanks to PureRobbie.com :yahoo: :D
January 2, 200718 yr IC still selling well this year. With IC and Rudebox's total sales, Rob should get his Echo award again this year in Germany I would imagine :D Germany Album 8 INTENSIVE CARE ROBBIE WILLIAMS AUSTRIA Albums: 3 Intensive Care Robbie Williams Netherland 18. Robbie Williams: Intensive care 29-1-49 Switzerland Albums: 2 Robbie Williams Intensive Care EMI
January 2, 200718 yr It said on the EMI site in October than IC had sold 6.7 million. I'd imagine in the last few months it would've sold more. It sold 5.4 million at the end of 2005 so nearly 1.5 million sold this year. Hopefully 7 million one day. Shame APTC never got released :(
January 2, 200718 yr what are rudebox world sales so far? Well according to the IFPI site http://www.ifpi.org/content/section_news/p...h_20061108.html It is the fastest selling million seller of the year, they go by shipments from the record company. I'd imagine it's done around 2.5 million this year. Not good compared to IC's 5.4 million for the end of 2005 but to be fair, it is'nt a 'normal' Robbie album and has'nt been promoted at all sadly. :(
January 2, 200718 yr rudebox shipped 2.5 mill but only sold 1.6 miullion globally.. it eventually sold more in germany than in UK!
January 2, 200718 yr rudebox shipped 2.5 mill but only sold 1.6 miullion globally.. it eventually sold more in germany than in UK! What are the sales for Germany do you know? And do you know when the IFPI will post the years best selling albums?
January 2, 200718 yr it shipped 600.000 copies in the first week of release in germany it probably sold over 400k there
January 2, 200718 yr Stevyy do all German on-line sales count towards the German sales figures or do certain German on-line retailers ship from outside Germany for tax reasons?
