The singer has agreed to recreate a striptease performance from hit film The Full Monty for his pal at the Madison Square Garden celebration in New York, reports the Daily Star. The special gig on March 25 will culminate in Williams getting his kit off to Tom Jones' You Can Leave Your Hat On. A source told the paper: "Elton and Robbie have had their disagreements over the years. But they are best pals again now. "And they always try and outdo each other when it comes to presents. "Robbie knows this is one gift Elton will have difficulty living up to. "But the pair love to shock each other so Elton will already be cooking up something bizarre for Robbie's birthday next month." The Stoke-born singer is well known for taking his kit off - in 2000's Rock DJ the video featured him in a roller-disco as he stripped nude and then proceeded to strip off his own flesh, muscle tissue and organs until he was a dancing skeleton. It will be the 60th time he has played at the world famous venue. Elton is said to have asked his friend Robbie, 32, to perform on the night and make the day extra-special, and the "Angels" singer has obliged by offering to do a striptease while performing classic Tom Jones hit "You Can Leave Your Hat On." The song is synonymous with stripping after it was used to soundtrack a male stripping scene in hit British comedy film "The Full Monty," which starred Robert Carlyle. A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "Robbie knows this is one gift Elton won't be able to out do. The pair love to shock each other, so Elton will probably already be cooking up something for Robbie's birthday next month." Robbie and openly gay Elton - whose partner is film producer David Furnish - previously had a falling out after Robbie, in his autobiography "Feel" described the pop legend as "weird," and claimed he "kidnapped" him when he was suffering from alcoholism, forcing him to go to rehab. January 19, 200718 yr Oh yeah. She's a friend of Elt too isn't she? ^_^ He helped her at the start of her career, he helped organize all the breast cancer treatment and has been by her side, he's like an aunt to her ^_^
